Clean, cool spot located in the heart of the desert! I decided to try this spot out for the first time and wow! Ashley was super... kind and sweet, service was fast and quick. Chicken itself hands down had my lips smacking, pickles were great, slaw was onpoint and those fries had great flavor, the mac and cheese was awesome! Bold flavor all around and all fresh! I devoured thewhole plate. Thank you guys for a great experience, I?ll be back again soon, this was my first and definitely not last timecoming back! Read more

Dave?s doesn?t mess around with spices! You order a specific spice level, you better be ready to have your mouth blessed with... that spice level! The chicken is very meaty and flavorful and the fries are tasty! You want to try different spice levels fromvery mild to absolute fire? Give Dave?s Hot Chicken a shot! Read more

What little they do, they do it very well. As far as entres, they offer 3 options - 2 strips, 2 sliders, or 1 and 1, in order of... increasing prices. In addition they offer several side orders to go with the entre. The seasonal fries I had were good and hot.I'm not sure but it seems that when my friend and I were there at dinner time, they cooked everything upon ordering. That wayeverything was very fresh. The chicken comes in 5 levels of spicy heat - no heat up to extremely hot. My friend got the lowestlevel and I got the medium. Believe me, mine was quite hot and I used a small stack of napkins to wipe the sweat from my headand face as I ate. I loved it! After all, the place is called Dave's Hot Chicken for a good reason. Thank goodness that theirfountain drinks are bottomless! Besides that, that is all you can get there. You can order strips and sliders a la cart, butthat's it. For two of us, the bill was forty bucks for food, soft drinks, tax, and tip. Yes, unlike most other fast food places, they provide the opportunity to tip at the register. A little bit pricey for strips, fries, and soft drinks. We probably won'tbe coming back soon because most other places offer more variety and lower prices. This place is unique as far as chicken placesgo. Popeyes has spicy chicken, both on the bone and boneless. Raisin' Cane has strips with more options but no spicy hot. KFC -not even close, nor Church's. However, plenty of parking. Take out and curbside are available. Spacious dining room with thewildest graffiti adorned walls and ceiling that I've ever seen that close before. No drive though due to city regs. Their menuis available online. Read more

I can handle spicy food but these guys do not mess around with their spice levels. I ordered (extra hot) sliders and could not... finish one slider had to get many refills to cool the spiciness. I would definitely go back but go with a mild the fries werevery good and I could tell the chicken would be enjoyable without so much spice. Read more

Good lord this was a religious experience for me! Finally chicken with flavor. Large meaty pieces. I was blown away. Enjoyed... every single bite. They got our sides wrong but I dont care -- I will be back, repeatedly, for more. Superior to Raising Canesin every way. Dining was clean and cool and comfortable. Read more

Tried Dave's for the first time ever at the new location in Palm desert. I don't do fast food, but I'm a fan of hot chicken. I... have to say this was the tastiest chicken sandwich I've ever had. I ordered medium, and the heat was good but not overpoweringfor me. But what blew me away was the flavor and the spices on the chicken. The Dave's sauce was good but it only enhanced whatwas a great piece of juicy crispy chicken. The slaw and the pickles just put it over the top. If that wasn't enough to go backagain for, the fries are just addictive. Everybody that knows me knows I refuse to eat fast food, so please don't make fun of mewhen you see me at Dave's. Read more

Glad there?s a Daves hot chicken in Palm desert cause it?s closer to Palm Springs than the Indio one. Other than that great... food, chicken always flavorful. Definitely coming back. Carla the manager also made sure my order was right also. Read more
