What a disappointing experience. We visited this restaurant last week and had an excellent waiter, the food was good and we were... quick to return this week as we enter a weekend filled with celebration for our daughter’s 21st birthday. I could not be moreunsatisfied with our experience this time around. Our waiter was condescending and made the entire visit awkward. We informedhim we’re celebrating a birthday but she’s reluctant to be embarrassed, so we were hopeful he’d do something thoughtfulyet reserved, and boy was I wrong. After our meal (which too was disappointing, my sea bass was over cooked and over salted, oursides were average, the lamb made my husband sick and the soup wasn’t even good, the only thing tasty was the calamari and ourdaughters crab stuff shrimp) not only did the waiter not do a single thing to acknowledge her birthday but he proceeded to makeremarks such as “so it’s not your birthday” which was simply odd and inappropriate considering we already expressed herreluctance to any embarrassing singing, and now he’s questioning the validity of whether or not it’s her birthday.Seriously, if the issue is a piece of cake then charge us for the cake, but don’t pester a young lady about an occasion thatshould have been special. Upon leaving I mentioned to the GM our experience in which she politely apologized and offered adessert which no one wanted at this point. We were leaving and our daughter’s “birthday dinner” turned out to be nothingmore than a mediocre dinner that in no way aknowledged her. What an absolutely disappointing experience. Not only will we not bereturning but we will no longer provide our clients with gift cards to their restaurant and will gladly send business elsewhere.I don’t typically leave reviews and had it just been the food I wasn’t pleased with I’d just move along with my day, butwhat an overall bad experience and disappointment that I’d not want anyone else to have the misfortune of dealing with. 10/10 Visit here for our anniversary. We reserved a table online and mentioned in the note that we are celebrating our wedding... anniversary. Didn't think we'd get the best table in the house and covered in rose petals. The staff made our occasion veryspecial and both me and my wife were smiling from ear to ear. The service was fantastic. Our server Jessica was very attentiveand as excited and happy as we were that we were celebrating. She made sure everything was perfect. The meal was perfect, wecouldn't have asked for a better steak as my wife had the filet mignon and I had the NY strip. The key lime pie and cheesecakewas also fantastic. After our dinner we went and had a drink at the bar and bartender Aaron was equally as nice and attentive. Easily one of the best steaks in the desert. I have been coming here with my family for over a decade and it is consistently a... great experience each time. It has been a few years since I have been here but last night I got a chance to try it again and itdid not let me down. As usual service was very prompt and polite and our server did a great job. I started off at the shrimpand lobster bisque and it was extremely smooth and tasty. For my entrée, as usual, I ordered the larger 12oz filet mignon andit was cooked perfectly. There was zero fat and the temperature was cooked perfectly throughout the entire piece ofmeat. Parking is extremely easy and plentiful. I would suggest doing so on the top level of the parking garage behind the mall.I have been here many times in the past and after last night’s great experience I plan to be back in the future next time I amvisiting the desert. This place was great the food was awesome I would recommend the filet over all the other ones. The potatoes were awesome I would... go for the garlic mashed potatoes and of course nothing but the chocolate cake for dessert. Made reservations a week ahead. Asked hostess if they did anything special for anniversary. She said yes, but you need to let... your server know. Arrived and they seemed a little rattled but got a table several minutes later. I asked the hostess about itbeing our 38th Wedding Anniversary and she assured me she would tell waitress. Our waitress was not overly friendly and did notexplain anything on the menu. Again I got up after our dinner came and asked hostess about our anniversary (to surprise myhusband). We were never asked if we wanted a second cocktail. Then our friend ordered her dessert and guys got coffee, but nospecial dessert for our Anniversary. Asked for Manager and she wanted us to come back - No Way…. After paying over $300 I wasso disappointed. I gave two stars as food was good but too many good restaurants to ever go back. Read more
