The stars are for the food. The service was TERRIBLE. We had a party of 6 and a baby and were sat very quickly for a busy Sunday... night around 6:30. The restaurant died down around 7:45. Unfortunately in our experience everything was an ASK. Totallyunderstandable that the kitchen would take longer than normal when busy. However our server forgot to offer salad/soup that camewith the entree, we had to ask. She forgot the side sauce that we asked for and had to wait for it to come out once ourappetizer arrived. She forgot to offer us bread and we asked 3 times before it finally came at the end of our dinner. We askedfor extra napkins and she brought only 2. There was no consistent flow of service what so ever even after the restaurant emptiedout, it was really just quite bizarre. Long wait times for food we were there for over 2 hours. Long gaps in betweenordering/appetizers/dinner. We had one order of calamari that was very good and one that was chewy and frail that we sent back.The stuffed pepper soup, house salad (especially the dressing), and the spaghetti and meatballs were all tasty. It wasn't crowded at all and plenty of seating available. The service was very good and the price was very good. Not very... expensive for two people even with tip didn't even spend $35. The food wasn't bad either. The atmosphere is great and veryaesthetic. This place gets very crowded at times where you have to wait a few minutes or more for seating. A lot of people I sawgetting take out. I also saw a family at the table behind me that decided it would be ok to lock their two dogs up in theirhybrid with the windows up. While they took their time eating. Really upset me. No reflection on Joey's pizza just putting thatout there for all to be on the lookout for a blue Toyota hybrid. Read more

We have been coming to Joey’s for a few years now and it continues to be consistently great. Last night the woman at the front... desk greeted us and was very friendly. Our server was very attentive and friendly, continually checking in on us. The food isalways great and last night did not disappoint. We had the stuffed mushroom appetizer, house salads that come with the meal andchicken and eggplant parm. Everything was top notch and the portions are generous. Prices are also very reasonable. The Owner wanted me to crawl into a dumpster to retrieve the pizza they made incorrectly and return it to them. I Had to throw... it out since it was so greasy, my parents couldn’t eat more than a couple of bites. They felt as though they were going tothrow up if they ate any more. And I bought the pizza to eat with them as a nice surprise. Not so nice. Wasted 23 dollars on it.Also the owner started to yell at me on the phone and just hung up, what a good way to treat an costumer! Never getting mybusiness again! Read more

Fantastic food & service! The portions are HUGE, we all left with doggy bags. Incredible wine selection as well.
