Everyone needs to go here. We need to get this place so busy that he has to find a brick and mortar location to grow to similar... or higher size than Fireside. The pizza is AMAZING. Owner is super cool. Having recently moved down from Chicago, this is handsdown one of the best pizza places we have tried within a 30 min drive of here. Ordered one sausage deep dish, one cheese thin crust. Both were delicious! Hubby picked up order, said owner was super nice.... Only negative for us, as a few have stated, sausage is way too spicey! Am I a pizza connoisseur? Not sure. I have however eaten a few metric tons of it in my 40 plus years across this great country... of ours. Gas station pizza, New York, tavern style, coal fire, New Haven pizza. As a Chicagoan I will say that the idea of adeep dish anything usually turns my stomach. So when this was recommended by a friend I was visiting I was not overly excited.Well let me say that I couldn’t have been more wrong. The small puck sized deep dish pizzas are delightfully chewy/crisp andsatisfying. Had a pepperoni and a sausage, and I’ve not stopped thinking about this place since.
