I was super disappointed with my experience here all around. I ordered the pasta at dinner and it tasted about the same as... Noodles & Company buttered noodles. Apps were good not great and same for the drinks. The vibe is really cool but there are somany “influencers” taking up space trying to get the right picture, distracting the waiters asking them to take pics,getting too close to people’s tables, etc. that it’s super distracting and really ruined the whole experience for me.Service was so-so. Luxurious and calm restaurant/hotel. Upscale and intimate. The watermelon margarita is very refreshing. The guacamole, salsa and... corns chips were very delicious and refreshing for the Palm Springs heat. The chefs penne pesto pasta was absolutelymouthwatering. The feta cheese on top made it perfect. We had an amazing dinner here one evening on the rooftop outdoor seating area. The ambiance with the mountain views, soft... lighting, comfortable seating, and the large fireplace made our dining experience very enjoyable. The service was excellent, andthey have a great drink and wine menu. We had the shaved brussel sprouts salad, the Swordfish entree, and the vegetable stuffedPablano entree, all of which were excellent. Be sure to make a reservation and ask for the upstairs outdoor seating. They alsohave indoor seating, and additional outdoor seating downstairs by the pool. There are two bars, both upstairs and downstairs,but if you decide to stop here for a drink, definitely go upstairs to enjoy the view and the fireplace area. There is plenty ofseating upstairs for those who prefer to have drinks only, or just a drink and a snack. It is a restaurant/bar that should notbe missed when you are visiting Palm Springs. Celebrated my husbands birthday on the gorgeous rooftop of Azucar. The ambiance is stunning and the vibe is great! They were... able to take us a little early for our reservation which I really appreciated. Service was a little slow, but our waitress wasthe only person working upstairs and working hard!! She made great recommendations, took our picture and was extremelyfriendly! We started with the spicy melon margarita (omg, so smooth and delicious) and the blood orange margarita (alsofantastic). The truffle fries were excellent. I was hoping to order the ahi bruschetta after reading reviews, but sadly it wasoff the menu. My husband enjoyed the crab stuffed poblano peppers which had some heat and a nice amount of crab stuffing. Atour servers recommendation, I had the chefs pasta and added shrimp. Outstanding! This was one of my favorite nights during a 7 day stay in Palm Springs. The hotel grounds and restaurant are both beautiful and... eye catching and the food and drinks were very good. It's mostly American food with a Mexican twist. The scallops and polenta Ihad were delicious. Read more
10/10 I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know. Staff is amazing, drinks, food, atmosphere. To... start off we had no reservations for Azúcar, they gladly took us in on a busy night, got us seated and provided drinks rightaway. The blood Orange margarita is my favorite and I could drink all night. Food was finger licking good! We ended the night bygoing yo the rooftop and drinking a bit more. Loved this beautiful restaurant, and upscale rooftop lounge with an amazing view. Our server was very nice and prompt, and we... ordered the hummus and tuna tartar. Both dishes were excellent and exactly what we hoped they would be. The decor and ambiencehere is very trendy and hip. It has a boho chic vibe mixed with sugar skulls and gorgeous bright colors.
