It was all just perfect I ate here with a few pals during a conference and let me just say the atmosphere and feel of the place... is like no other. They had a great variety of pizza which I am sure all tasted great. I recommend Bill's favorite pizza. Read more
Got kicked out of Bill's for having our pizza put in a box! We called in our pizza since it was suggested it's best to call... ahead since it can take them a while to make a fresh pie. We asked for it to be put in a box since we assumed we wouldn't finishit all in one sitting. After a few bites one of the workers informs us that we can't eat the pizza inside since it's in a box.Perplexed we asked why and she tells us that the tables inside are only for customers eating there (like us). Only a few of thetables had anyone sitting in them with the vast majority being empty. We had to eat lunch in the 100 degree sun on a streetcorner. Not ideal. Even though this absurd rule is pressumed to exist to generate more tips for the workers, it in fact may dothe opposite: if we could have stayed there we would have (at least unenthusiastically) tipped them. The staff was notpleasant. The pizza was over-priced and mediocre at best - with cheap tasting mozzarella cheese and a lot more grease than you'dexpect from a $33 pizza - and their silly 'no eating of pizza there if it's currently placed in a box' rule is so rediculousthat it's almost funny. But it isn't funny enough to ever go back to Bill's. Read more
Went in on a Monday around 7pm, it was pretty busy. A sign said to sit down for dine in, counter for take out. We luckily found... a table outside. I thought we we?re going to wait awhile giving how busy they looked. I wasn?t too hungry when we went but onceI smelled the pizza and saw their slices I was hungry. We ended up ordering the Works as a large and it was delicious. Huge.Probably would have done two individuals of two different pizzas if I were to do it over. Anyways, the service was quick, thepizza came out fast, and the toppings were fresh. And someone came out and turned on the gas heater for my wife without ourrequest so that?s a plus! Bill?s pizza! Great pizza! We both got slices. The pizza has a solid crunchy bottom but a soft top. Amazing atmosphere, saw one of the staff... members giving free food to a homeless woman and being extremely gentle with her, something you don?t see often!! for that theyget 5 stars. Read more
Eh, it is okay for a quick bite but honestly not the best option. I love pizza and sampled just cheese and then Alton John and I... feel both could have used a little more sauce. I always get a stomach ache when I eat slices that sit at room temp and then arerewarmed. That?s what they do here if you don?t order a whole pie. The wait time on a Monday evening at 5ish was over an hour,which made me choose the slices. Price wise the cost is fair. Not my favorite pizza place tho, especially since slices are justreheated (but the crust is still soggy). Great for busy tourists or families who need something quick downtown. Read more
I went to Bill?s for the first time tonight and I have to say that it was a great experience! I loved the pizza and the Caesar... Salad! Both were excellent! The place doesn't look like a lot but it is exactly what it is advertised as...a great pizza joint. I overheard a tour guide... talking and apparently Bill imports a lot of the ingredients. It is believable because the pizza was fantastic. We did a halfand half with the luau and the Northern Italian. Both sides were amazing in their own way. Don't let the small dinner feel turnyou away! Stop for some pizza, you won't regret the decision. Read more
