Del Taco #777 Ramon Rd. Palm Springs CA. Do not bother to respond, (I doubt I would get the formal letter of apology, with... signatures of those involved, that this deserves), so just fix it. I have to wonder, maybe they just don't like older people? Iworked just about every aspect of food out there - I know it can be hard, but some things are downright inexcusable. As a formerrestaurant manager, and currently ordained chaplain/preacher, I think two employees lying right to my face, (along with thoseemployees who did not step up and say something), would be one of those inexcusable things. I let them know I'd be on the phoneto Corporate. After charging me far more money than both our orders were worth, I asked the register person if they could openthe bathroom. There were NO out of order signs, just a sign telling me that's was how to get it opened up. He turned, consultedquietly with a couple of other workers behind the counter, then stumbled over some kind of sorry answer, about how it was out oforder. It was locked last time we were there, too. Ladies room was working, I saw a customer come out of it. Little whilelater, I spotted one of the employees eyeballing us. Looked to me like he was doing his best NOT to be seen. Straight to thebathroom. He emerged a few minutes later as I heard it flush. I said, "That's some broken bathroom you have". He tried to toldmy adult son and me customers are to blame for that. I've cleaned enough toilets, dealt with enough broken bathrooms... Youdon't go in and flush to see if a broken toilet is still broken. And, you don't don't go in to clean it with bare hands and nocleaning materials. If you were fixing it, where's the tool kit? If you got it working, why not tell us? If you actually care about your customers, you suggest options, like using the ladies room, once it's free. Hello, today is Sunday at 4:40 pm. I was very disappointment at the store team leader for his bad service at the counter. If u... don?t have an order ready to take than don?t give out the drink first!! Wait till the whole oder is ready than hang it out tothe costumers!! Second of all, be more specific about giving items. Please, communicate by saying, ? your order is not ready yet? you?re oder will be ready in a sec.. we will let you know? ect.?
