No nonsense Mexican spot that offers generous portions (of food and alcohol) and speedy service.

I went here to enjoy some good food and didn't get a chance to. When I walked up to be seated a server greeted me and said the... host would be with me shortly. So I waited. A few minutes later the host walks up doesn't greet me. So I stans there for about 5min while he fumbles around with the table seating tablet. Yet he still doesn't acknowledge me. So I greet him still noresponse. Why is this? So I turn around and leave. Wow I've never experienced anything like this. Read more

El Marisol has a plethora of both meat and vegetarian Mexican-style prepared dishes. All dinner plates are accompanied by rice... and beans. Their beans are crafted beautifully and very tasty. Okay, if you get anything here, the Mini Chorizo Tacos are an absolute killer with the homemade everything - the crisp of the... shell and the savory chorizo made my day. My friend had the Shrimp in Pipián, and loved it. Another friend was impressed withthe Chicken Flauta. But, my wife had the Shimp Enchiladas, with chewy eraser-textured shrimp pieces, and both the refried beansand rice were practically tasteless (and we haven’t had COVID, thanks). Read more

Wry good place for a dinner. Their margaritas are fantastic, so get a large one... The nacho plate is delicious.

On a recent visit to Palm Springs we dined here. Party of 4 on a Saturday night. Seating options are outside under misters or... inside. It was 103 so we sat inside. Everyone agreed the drinks were great but disappointed with the food. My order ispictured, Large Cadillac Margarita with a combo chicken enchilada and chicken taco. Beans and rice tasted great, chicken tasteddays old. The locals I dined with said they wouldn't go back. I agree. Read more
