Girl's trip to Palm Springs from June 24-27 amd on Saturday, June 25, we did the Tram about 6:30 and it was a wonderful... experience!! Once we were at the top, we were going to eat at Peaks. We didn't have reservations, nor was our wait long. However, the service was not up to par at all!! Our server Chris seemed all over the place and we were ok with that consideringthey may have been short staff, but the inattentiveness was very poor. We waited forever to get our food, but prior to thateven getting "lukewarm" water was a task. Yes, lukewarm, as they did not have ice. One of the ladies' salmon was small in sizeand overcooked for her salad, so she ate around it and fortunately, they did not charge her for it. I, personally, had a shrimpsalad with 5 grilled shrimp. The only thing that we all agreed that tasted worth something was the meatloaf another friend hadordered. Overall, we were VERY disappointed in the service and food. My boyfriend took us here for our 1 year anniversary. Such a beautiful and romantic spot! We literally reached new heights, wink... wink. We both ordered espresso martinis, our favorite, and I asked the waiter to bring us chocolate syrup on the side to pourin! It was so good like that. The waiter was very friendly and nice. We wanted to take some pics outside on the deck duringsunset so they let us go outside for a minute to so that! I will admit food is average. Overpriced for the quality. They have limited menu and don't specifically only when you reserve and is very poor selection on plates but very... expensive,price is not inconvenient when food is delicious but this restaurant have a good food must not very convince.. Read more
The food is fabulous, more of a white tablecloth upscale restaurant with huge portions. The price & service are also absolutely... great! If you are looking for a more casual restaurant, you can just stop at the Buffet which you can even take outside for apicnic. All great! Read more

Luckily, we were able... to eat at the bar across from the restaurant which offered the same menu. Pretty good bar food and great views Food- 4stars Ordered 1 of each of the available entrees- chicken sandwich, steak sandwich, salmon and pasta. Everything was pretty goodtypical bar food. It's about Cheesecake Factory level of dining. Service- 4 stars Our bartender was pretty helpful andattentive. Food did arrive slowly, but everyone was good Bottom Line Great views and best dining spot when you're at the PalmSprings Tramway. Going on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway was so Awesome & we had the most delicious meal at The Peak Restaurant. Our server,... Michael, who btw looks like Jesse Custer on The Preacher, was phenomenal! He recommended some meals over others, and everyone inour party was super happy with their meals & service!
