First time here and it was nice. Make reservations!! Nice outdoor space. Nice indoor space. The food was wonderful. Great beer... and wine list. The cocktails made by bartender Nadia are wonderful!! I was able to snag a reservation here at the last minute during the weekly Village Fest. The staff were funny, quirky, and... attentive. The food took a long time to come out, but I’m sure it’s a staffing issue which I understand. But OMG the food!I started with the goat cheese appetizer. It was just the right size, served warm, and came with a light salad. Great for oneperson. For my entree I got the steak au poivre. It was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious! It came with fries thatwere fresh and hot and green beans. The perfect dish! Check out the beer list. It’s one of the most extensive beer listI’ve seen in any restaurant. What to say...Once upon the time in the west...We stopped by Pomme Frite while visiting a customer for a furniture restoration... estimate and we fall in love with the place. As French people, we sometimes miss French and Belgium food and what a gift wasgiven to us to find Pomme Frite. This was a lovely bistro with great food! Server was very nice. Atmosphere charming. Wonderful Bordeaux! Great classic escargot.... I enjoyed a delicious beautiful little beet salad perfectly portioned, mussels were out of this world and large, and the troutalmondine was delicious. Highly recommend. We struggled to find any decent restaurants in Palm Springs. This was ahit! Surprisingly it appears most places in town serve overpriced diner food with way too much going on. Pomme Frites was oneof the four great places we found in town! Recommend. Read more

Really enjoyed my dinner and dessert here tonight. Had the Mussels, a Ceaser Salad and a fine Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.... Finished it off with the dessert sampler which included tastes of Cream Bruleé, Angel Food Cake with Almonds and CreamyCaramel, and an incredible Belgian Chocolate Mousse to die for. Read more
The decor reminds you of being in Belgium, with many Art Deco posters all over all the walls. The place cozy but still spacious... enough. The menu is unique in Palm Springs, probably the only French cuisine in downtown area. We had Scampi in butter andparsley, frog legs, sole meunière, Flemish beef stew, all excellent. Very savoury and rich, didn’t spare the butter. Thenwell toasted bread was just right. The frites was mediocre. The 3 sauces, ketchup, mayo and salsa brava saved the frites. Service was excellent. It was our first time for dinner. The fresh mussels are the BEST!! There are choices of mussel dishes.... We enjoyed the French Onion Soup with scissors ?? too. We'll be back! Read more
