Went for dinner the first night my friends were in town. Food was quite good, portions were smaller (which was a welcome relief)... and it was easy to get into. Ambience was somewhat generic but enjoyable. The only reason I am giving four stars as opposed tofive is because both of my girlfriends stated that their margaritas were very watery and struggled to taste the alcohol, but weall enjoyed our meals. Beware of being overcharged ! We were overcharged by $ 29 for 2 non-existent drinks and 2 non-existent happy hour food items,... even though happy hour ended more than an hour before we arrived. Deceptively, the extra items were shown in parentheses to theleft of the main column of billed items, so it wasn't immediately clear - without adding up the numbers - that these items wereincluded in the bill. The manager agreed to remove the extra items but didn't offer any real apology, only that the server was"trying to figure out what happened" and "it was an honest mistake". The food itself was mostly good. The Camarones a laDiabla had tasty sauce and the chips were good. The drinks were very large but not that strong. The wait staff was friendly,although it took several requests to get some lemon wedges and salt. Read more

Great place. I love this restaurant. Always great food, great customer service. The food portions are large and you could... share a plate. They have an amazing house salad and amazing carnitas. Hard for me to pass everything I go. My partner doesenjoy the combo plates and the burritos and enchiladas are very delicious. I love their refried beans and chips. They haveoutdoor seating, indoor seating and bar seating. The bar seating area can feel a bit cramped. They have the games playing ontheir tvs in the bar area and if you want to watch a different game they will change it. Parking can be a challenge when its abusy night out. This has turned into a bit of a tradition for our first night in Palm Springs on our annual trip. The happy hour is a great... deal and the margaritas are a great way to start your first night in the desert! This year we had the nachos, the fish tacos,and the canoa.... all appetizers to share and they we so big we couldn't make a dent in them! More food that we could eat and2 large margaritas for a total of $37.... a pretty amazing deal. Combine that with an outdoor patio and excellent service andyou know why we came back again this year!
