Usually when i give out reviews i tend to state what?s good, bad and ugly if there is. But with the seafood boil I?ve just ate... from this resto, everything?s bad, we?ve ordered the captain?s choice, shrimp wasn?t deveined, the snow crab taste?s old andovercooked because every time i crack one the meat sticks to the shell, same goes with lobster, overcooked, only one corn andone potato was served, we chose medium spice it was mild, the cost is overpriced probably its because we?re in Cali i don?t knowbut i would still have to find out when we venture ourselves in for a better seafood boil. We are here twice. I got the garlic butter flavor of boil both times as I don't like spicy food. The first time we dined in and... it was great. The second time we took it to go and when I got home to eat it, it was extremely spicy. We called the restaurantand complained since it's quite an expensive meal that I couldn't finish. They acknowledged that sometimes the spiciness ofother flavors can get mixed and said there's nothing they can do. Awful customer service and a waste of money. The house spice mix is my favorite I have had but the price is a lot higher than any other place I have been in California.
OMG! This place is so, so good. Best seafood place in Palmdale. Had the king crab and the captains dish delicious. Its better... to dine in for the freshest food but be advised you have to pay upfront plus an additional 18% on your bill for 6 people ormore. It's worth it. Great service, they supply the tools, bibs, gloves, wipes and mints. You will need lots of patience. Theyget busy. Again it is worth the wait. Best clam chowder soup yummo Read more
saw this place and had mix reviews - decided to try and and not worth it at all. Kids menu items same size as regular items. We... order 1lb of shrimp and it?s been over 30 mins and they haven?t brought it out . It was empty when we arrive. They have a payfirst policy because if they don?t ppl ( my family ) would?ve left already . Omg I thought it was weird they offer Thai tea ?well it?s a can ???? Waitress was ok , but she didn?t make eye contact she knew it was taking way to long . The time it tookthem to bring out the shrimp I would?ve made it to San Pedro and have gotten my food . The best crab and shrimp we've ever had. Better than Joseph's crab place (you know the one) I guess they're known for that and... their crab n spice sauce which I highly recommend. I can only speak to that. The sauce is some heavenly creation. We put thecorn on it, shrimp, sausage, I did my laundry in it. We got mild and it was perfectly spiced with just a hint of heat like welike. Will definitely be back! *Update. Lowered by a star. They shorted me 4 ounces on the crab. It looked like not enough crabso I got out my kitchen scale. 12.4 oz... We'll still come back but kind of frustrating. Maybe the pound is frozen weight? **Update to the update. The food was very good! They have an updated menu with even more goodness. I got the king crab legs, all in, spicy. They got... better with the sauce amount. Everything was covered and the food was super good and sauce was thick!! I also got the shrimp andsnow crab with the CSN, I think that's lemon pepper, garlic, and Cajun. This place is good if you don't want to drive to San Pedro or anywhere outside of the AV the food is good though a bit less... expensive than Pier 88 still on the higher end of the spectrum the service is okay and I still don't understand the bill beforeyou eat. Still good enough. Read more
