The art they call food at this fine establishment is tantamount to prayer for a single bite brings mecloser to the divine, starting at the experience of walking into the doors the handles clean and sleek speaking of the god likeinterior to come. Then you enter and the scent if fries and cheap processed meat fill you with a sense of safety that you willhe satisfied with the food. And then the piece de resistance the counter workers the flawless customer service workers elevatingthe experience from the realm of mortals to one so sacred you'd be forgiven for thinking your trespassing in a place your sinfulsoul is unworthy of being in. They gracefuly take my order " yes another carne asada fries" " of course sir" AND OH HOW THEYSTRIKE THE HEART " would like a fork?" OH BUT ONLY THE MOST Excellent OF PEOPLE WOULD ASK THIS SO Readily . AND THEN IN THE Backthe artists are at work putting together my carne asade fries for me. I used to eat at Del Taco as a kid and loved them. I don't know what they changed but the food is horrible. Lettuce had a funny... smell and after taste. No flavor in either chicken or beef burritos and there chicken taco is a chicken strip wrapped in atortilla. Will not be going back to a place that doesn't love their food enough to make it edible. I came out to eat here with my friends and we all ordered. The Lady at the front was incredibly rude to me. My order was put in... wrong so I came back to ask them to remake it. The lady insisted that I pay extra for the difference of the burrito that Iwanted. I agreed but she had a horrible tone and attitude with me and I told her that I was going to leave a bad review so shelowered the difference a dollar. I was trying to swipe my card and she just kept speaking to me nasty and made me feel horrible.I felt like she was treating me badly because I'm white skinned and she treated my mexican friend that was with me nicely. Literally the worst experience I've ever had. I'm here from out of town for work, virginia to be exact. Placed a mobile order... for pick up. Walk up there and the takeout is closed. Walk up to the drive thru to attempt to get my order which I pre-paid andthey won't even talk to me. So I go back to my hotel, call an uber, and go back to pick up my order for the lady to say someonealready picked it up? How? Did they ask for ID or the card on file that was used to pay for the order? Obviously not. DO NOT GOTO THIS HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT. IM SURE YOU WILL THANK ME LATER BECAUSE THEYLL JUST ROB YOU.
