Came here as it was highly recommended by family to try .... It was fine? The deep fried oysters were incredibly unpleasant to... eat. They tasted dirty , as if they were not a good quality oyster, also some weird black and green liquid came out of them. Therice was fine and the Pad Thai was , again, fine. Nothing spectacular. I've been meaning to try this place out for a while now, and I am VERY happy that I did. Tom Kha Khai is one of my favorite... soups, and Shandra Thai does it up perfectly. The lunch specials are a great deal, and I can highly recommend both the TeriyakiBeef and the Pineapple Chicken. The staff are polite, pleasant and extremely efficient, and can tailor your order to suit yourlevel of piquancy. Honestly, I haven't had decent Thai food in years, let alone something as good as this, so if you like Thaifood, this is your spot! Read more
We have been enjoying this little restaurant for over 15 years. Everyone that works here is so sweet, even when they are crazy... busy. Wow!! What an amazing Thai food restaurant!! Who knew that there was such a top notch place with a clean, modern, tasteful... atmosphere in Palmdale? Sandra Thai Cuisine is de-lish!! Everything is fresh, non-greasy, and flavorful. The menu is extensive.There is a vegetarian entrees section with many choices. Vegetarian items can be found throughout the menu and they can makerequested items. The atmosphere is comfortable and clean with tasteful booths and lighting, high-polished black tabletops witha hint of sparkle, cream-colored stone walls, and Thai accents and art throughout. This is a great place to go for a casual orsemi-casual date night. Family will also appreciate a more upscale but still casual setting to enjoy food and company. Have aboba Thai iced tea or a fresh, young coconut water (from the coconut itself). Imported beer also served. I will definitely eathere again! Read more

Got their lunch special, which came with a cabbage chicken soup which was hearty and substantial, an eggroll, and choice from... some entrees. I got the beef spicy eggplant and it was delicious! It is also priced really well. I really enjoyed the serviceand food ar Shandra and would definitely come again whenever I'm in Palmdale and craving some Thai food. Read more
The service was great and enjoyed the atmosphere. Had the yellow curry and sticky rice. This combination was good. Was not... impressed with the fried wontons. They were more like tortilla chips with very little filling. The filling was also very dry.Not a $9.99 appetizer. Read more
