I live in Bethlehem and see a friend here in this quaint town of Palmerton. Nothing that adds to the Quaintness of this town is... a place called Bert's. This restaurant serves up a mean delicious breakfast that will make you loosen your belt buckle becausenothing is worse than leaving someplace still hungry. I stopped here to take a break from driving, 1 waitress working. They had a big group to n back room, it took 20 minutes just to... get a drink and almost another hour to getour order taken and getiur food. Food was average it's a nice little place but theyhave to get more help. Read more
This is a time portal where you step back sit down and relax. Food is awesome, atmosphere is perfectly out of the last... century. Hikers visit here. There's a dog bowl out front if your puppy is thirsty..... The sign says it's also for short peoplebecause they don't judge. OMG Bert's has the best steak sandwich I've ever had in my life. Specifically this rib eye version on a brioche bun. The fries... were crispy and the cream cabbage was of the perfect sweetness. Seriously, this little joint is da bomb. My wife and alsoshared a warm brownie sundae for dessert. Highly recommended. Read more
This spot is a little Hidden Gem. We been living in walnutport for a year and been trying local spots in the area. We kept being... told to go here. So for Mother's day we tried it and my whole family loved it. The food is awesome and the restaurant is clean.Staff is super friendly and helpful. Now the only down side is the 1st time we went there the server took forever witheverything. The 2nd time the service was a lot faster. So it might have been a fluke. Cute place. Love the 50's retro theme. Great pricing. Great food. Poor service. It started off well but it but after we got our... food our waitress vanished. She became involved in a conversation with another table and we were forgotten. We were done eatingand just sat there waiting for the check and To go box. We waited for awhile. When she remembered we were there she just slidover the check. Didn't ask if we needed anything or wanted anything else. Read more
