I have lived in the area for 5 years and always been reluctant to stop in (Sushi & Thai - generally a red flag anyway), but we... finally stopped in a few weeks ago. We ordered Thai food and it was very disappointing. The Pad Thai was swimming in a darkbrown sauce that seemed premade and way too sweet - not at all what I have had in many good Thai restaurants across the country. The best sushi around!! I have always ordered to-go because the outside of the building is honestly not somewhere you would want... to typically walk into?.BUT that being said, the inside is completely fine. It?s not fancy, but was clean and much lessintimidating than the outside. I?ve had a variety of different speciality rolls and they all have been wonderful. I stopped induring lunch for this first time in-house visit and wasn?t disappointed. The lunch bento box was a great deal and left me fulland happy! This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and from the outside, it doesn't look like it's going to be good at all. It's... in this tiny strip mall with maybe 5 or 6 small stores in it, and the area leaves a lot to be desired. It's just not appealingoutside whatsoever, however, inside the restaurant looks great and is typical of all Thai/Sushi restaurants. The food was sodelicious and the service was awesome, too. I have passed this place many times without ever giving it any consideration becauseof the location it's in, but now that I know how good it is, we will all definitely be going back. Also, they are open forlunch and then they close for a few hours until they open back up for dinner, usually at 5pm but please don't hold me to that,so you'll need to check their times before you go. However, on this particular day they did open at 5pm, and we arrived as soonas they opened the door, which proved to be a very good thing because even though it was early evening on a Wednesday, they werePACKED. People just kept coming in one after another, so it is clear that reservations are probably smart, even on a weekday.Overall this place was great, and we will definitely be back for more!!! Read more
Excellent food and service despite being super busy. Friendly staff even in the face of a rude customer. Excellent sushi... options. Delicious Thai options. Monster roll, Super spicy Tuna and Rock and Roll are favorites. Gy?za and steamed dumplings areperfect! Fried rice is the best in town. Good sushi and good Thai food. The restaurant from the outside does not honor what one finds inside, the setting is very... pleasant, the spaces are open and wide and there are many decorative details that add to the proposal. The food is very rich,the pieces of sushi maybe a little small, but it has the plus of Thai food that is very rich and very well prepared. The chairsare more like a bar, and are not usually very comfortable. The place is not usually very busy but if there are many tablesoccupied it gives the feeling that it would be somewhat noisy. We started with very tasty fresh spring rolls. Shari had the tofu vegetable soup that was a very generous serving loaded with... tofu and veggies. The broth was a bit bland and the garlic pieces tasted raw. I had a spicy crunchy tuna roll. Perfect balance, this will be my go-to order. Read more
