I work at the port and had plans to meet my father at Popis for lunch. In the morning hours I had an incident that split the... soul of my shoe so my left boot and foot were soaked with rain water. Replacements were definitely a must. I tried to orderonline for delivery but i was out of the delivery area. so I called the restaurant & I spoke with Marie and she told me it wouldbe okay to have new boots delivered. We was there for breakfast last Saturday the 13th with over 50 of our West Coast Florida Riders. The staff and the food was... awesome. The food came out quickly and was really good like all the other times that I've been there they was spot on witheverything. Definitely a well organized restaurant. Popi's isone of my simple pleasures. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. This place alwaysbrings meback in time. It... feels like a cozy small town place where you sit at the counter and everybody knows your name. The food is very good, serviceis friendly and your coffee is always topped off and hot! Read more
Ordered two fish and grits. Got charged $32.28 left a 5 dollar tip. For three strips of fish!!! Called the manager. Who stated... that someone would get it touch after the rush. Poor quality of food and service. Will not be going back. Read more
Update: Girlfriend was hungry and unfortunately this place is the only thing that's close, 2nd chance and again 4 servers super... slow, 2 bus ladies, 2 managers, 2 cook, and 1 prep lady, they are blaming it on the registry but watching them stand there,while your waiting to order has nothing to do with the registry. Lots of food items to choose from, so there is that. On theupside food was hot not like last time. It's going to be Ify if we come back. 2months ago: I wrote a review before and some howit was deleted. We came here on the weekend and place was packed, when we finally got our food it was cold, hate asking to sendstuff back because they could do something to it. I have been here several times and it was very good but I went today and it was not. Don't go at 10:30 in the morning on a... Sunday they are very busy. I got my food the eggs and potatoes were almost cold I did not get my toast until I was more thanhalfway done with my breakfast. I had to ask twice to get my toast. This was not the cook's fault it was the waitresses Inormally leave a $5 tip no matter where I go or what the tab is unless I spend enough to deserve more than that.
