Reviews for Ancestor Coffeehouse & Crêperie in Palmyra, PA
My daughter and I visited here for the first time for breakfast. The Crepes were great (we chose savory over sweet) and got hot... mulled cider to drink, with Macarons to go... This place in Campbelltown has lots of room in their dining area with a nicedecorative atmosphere and a decent menu. I am certain that everyone in your party will find something to enjoy here. Good food, cheery service, nice atmosphere. Docked a star for using all single-use, even though I ordered for here--cup, plate,... sad little plastic cutlery in its plastic bag, unpleasant to use and all going straight to the landfill. Read more

Unbelievable!! We are from VA and being my first visit to Hershey I had no idea where to stop and eat, so I chose this place... randomly. The best hot chocolate I have ever had, crepe cooked to perfection with amazing lemon creme, and super friendly staff! If I ever find myself back in town for another concert I will for sure be stopping again! Soooooo delicious! Coffee is a true coffeehouse style, strong and tastes great. Crepes were also delicious, 5 stars all around
Closest thing to a Starbucks in this area. Staff was excellent the variety of coffees and beverages were very good plus they... have great breakfast foods and crepes available here. The other side has a brewery pub bar area dining there is a limited menuright now which is only sandwiches. There are no entrees available currently due to a shortage of staff. Read more
We stopped here on our way from Lebanon County to Hershey, just on a whim. We thought they offered lunch, but only crepes and... breakfast sandwiches on the menu. The food and specialty drinks were very good, the place was clean, and the staff was friendly.Since the place only had a few patrons in and out of the building, it gave us a chance to really see the character of thebuilding and business. I don't know what the history of this place is, but when you look close enough you can tell that theywere trying to keep it authentic. We thought it was clever how it appeared to be a coffee shop by day and a brewery at night, and the aesthetics worked. I could see the parking lot being an issue on a crowded Friday night, though. This place definitelyfelt more of a local watering hole than a tourist trap, though I can see the business vying for the travelers from Hershey andand Lancaster. Read more
The whole ordering and counter setup is a bit haphazard, definitely built as an afterthought from the main bar / restaurant.
