My first visit was much better than my second. The food both times were great. The service was excellent my first visit, the... service the second time was horrible. I also enjoyed the little coffee shop as well the first visit (It was closed my secondvisit). My second visit the employees were fighting the entire time I was there. It made the experience horrible. They ran outof receipt tape and had to borrow one from another establishment. Then they argued over that as well. The food the second timewas also served in "To Go" containers, and I noticed from the trash overflowing with the containers that it wasn't just us, butthat was how they served them now. Read more

This was pretty good, they had a pickle flight in which the Bahn Mi was a delightfully spicy option. The beer was all okay, the... sours were definitely sour and the funky farmhouse was more of a sour than a farmhouse ale. The Russian imperial tasted good, but it didn't have that full body flavor typical of the imperial, it was more like your standard porter. The menu was prettysimple, and the food was standard bar food. Our burgers were a bit burnt and overdone, but they did have sweet potato wafflefries which were yummy. Is a bit overpriced for what we did get. Read more

We were nearby for my daughter's lacrosse tournament and stopped by for a quick lunch between games. First, the staff was... amazing. I told them about my daughter's food allergies (both milk and gluten) and they went above and beyond to accommodateher. They ensured a safe dining experience for them, which gives us so much comfort. The kids had a great time on their owntable and could watch whatever they wanted on TV. This allowed the parents to enjoy the food (wings and pork sandwich wereawesome) and great beer selection in peace! We look forward to visiting again when we are in the area! Read more

I attended a beer class and happy hour afterwards and let me tell you, the knowledge of this team is amazing! Their products... sure show it. As someone who doesn't like beer AT ALL- I found one I liked. Their burgers and fries are awesome as well! Read more

We came here for dinner and drinks - a truly great dining experience! The atmosphere is rustic and fun. The team here was very... friendly and helpful. Though the team mentioned they scaled back their menu due to staffing shortages, the menu still offered alot of good choices. The jackfruit tacos were a unique menu item that we haven't seen before in this area - and seriously tasty. We also tried the loaded fries with pulled pork which was delicious. For dessert, we had the cast iron cookie, which came outincredibly hot, but a great treat! The beers were also awesome - we tried the Undercover Mother milkshake IPA as well as thepeach vanilla sour. Definitely recommend both. Even though it's been a tough run for many restaurants lately, MGCB is stillgoing strong! Looking forward to stopping back in the future! Read more
