I ordered through Door Dash. I got combo #12, which was supposed to be a Chile relleno, a chalupa and refried beans. This was... delivered in a round tin, and was mushy, with the beans and guacamole slathered and on top. It looked nothing like the menuphotos. Not appetizing at all. Enjoyed our dinner here, and so far this has proved to be one of the best mexican restaurants in the area. Their Enchilladas... Supreme was satisfying, my son gobbled down the Asada Tacos, and my wife had Chicken Fajitas and a Chile Relleno. Refills didn'toccur and we waited a long time until we decided to just order our dessert to go. We wish real cheese was used in a restaurantwith such an authentic ambiance and menu selection. This restaurant uses American cheese which is good for kids lunches, and is highly processed. White cheddar, sharp cheddar, provolone, and cotijo cheese would be better. Read more

Great food. We had the beef Chimichanga and the combo taco and enchilada meals (Speedy Gonzalez). Both were fantastic and came... out within 5 mins! Service was amazing too. Their salsa was one of the best we have had as well. Read more

I enjoyed my experience at Rey Aztecs Mexican Restaurant. From the second I walked in, I was greeted by the very friendly... hostess. Since I was dining alone I wanted to eat at the bar but it was closed so I settled for a booth. Shortly, after I satdown the waiter was at my table. The chips were warm and salsa had a kick to it which I appreciated. He was very attentive. Iordered the steak fajita. I was not disappointed when it came out. He warned me it was hot and to be careful. Which goes withoutsaying when ordering fajitas. My experience was going good... UNTIL! I noticed a shrimp on my plate. It would've been a nicefreebie IF I wasn't allergic to them. The staff was very apologetic. They had no inkling of my allergy so I'm of the mindsetthat it was an accident. Despite my insistence on paying for my meal they refused to let me pay for it. Until that point, I wasenjoying my meal and the atmosphere at Rey Azteca Mexican Restaurant. I had cash on me so I left the waiter the cost of my mealas a tip and paid for the 2 beers. Overall, I would recommend Rey Azteca to anyone looking for Mexican food while visiting thearea.
