We came for lunch and were very pleased. First off, our server was attentive and gracious. We got our appetizer and meals... timely. The flank steak was huge and flavorful. Very tasty but hard pressed to give this 5 stars. The lamb shank was delicious, filling, and literally fell off the bone. The... accompanying orzo was ok. All the sides were pretty good - in order I'd say get the butternut squash, zucchini cakes, and thenmushrooms. Service was attentive and effective. Second time visiting. Food was excellent as last time, but the server need more math training and learn how to respect their... customers. $505 after tax for 5 people dinner. We gave $95 tips after being told explicitly that tip is between 18% to 20%, butthe server came back and said we gave $50, 10% only. They even didn’t want to listen how the math work. Omg. This is absolutely at this moment the best restaurant in Downtown Palo Alto, CA. My family took me to Evvia in Palo Alto... for my birthday. For a foodie like me, this was the best part of my birthday and one of the best birthday lunches i have everhad. Highly recommend this to my fellow Palo Alto neighbors and all visitors and tourists. Amazing experience at Evvia! ???? Felt very welcome and the staff was super friendly and trusted the waiter Loukas with the... dessert which beat all expectations!
