Good food and fast service. We had the lemonade (not overly sweet) and a Latte. To eat had the grilled chicken Sandwich which... was huge with a good amount of greens. Also had the Eggs Benedict with Bacon and potatoes. The Benedict 2 pieces and cookedperfectly. Read more

Late afternoon lunch, with a good eclectic menu. Tried the muscles, shaking beef, squash salad.. all very tasty. The Mac and... Cheese was goopy and not that great. Drinks were done well. Not overly sweet, right amount of alcohol. We'll definitely beback! Read more

A favorite staple brunch spot in Palo Alto. You can make reservations on OpenTable or they don't tend to have too long a wait if... you're a small group. We visited on a Friday for a last minute brunch. I ordered the peach sangria and make your own omelettewith chicken, kale, and feta and my mom ordered the make your own scramble with bacon, spinach, and feta. They also have a greatmimosa sampler that I highly recommend. Food came out very quickly and was delicious! I was impressed by the quality of the meatthough we thought both egg dishes seemed a little heavy on the oil/butter. The salads unfortunately had quite a few spoiledpieces. I'd stick with the potatoes if ordering either make your own egg dish. Read more

Good for drinks, ok for food. Have been here a couple times both during and before Covid. This place is more of a happy hour... place for drinks and less so for the food. After a few assorted drinks - beer, wine, old fashioned and gin we started with somecorn and turmeric cauliflower. Both were very dry and not flavorful. For the main course we had Pulled Chicken Tacos, CreamyAlfredo Pasta and Tomato soup. These certainly were not the most appetizing dishes for us and so we tried some bread pudding fordesserts and that was disappointing as well! Read more

We sat outside. Each table had a bottle of hand sanitizer- I appreciated that. There was a heater separating a 2-top from a... 4-top table. It was warm and provided some COVID necessary distance. The best dishes we had were the grilled artichoke- freshand tender. The lemony dip had a nice zing. The artichoke dip was creamy and warm but I think pita chips or something similarwould be better it serve it with instead of crusty bread (which ended up getting hard if it wasn't eaten right away). We alsoordered the rock cod tacos at the recommendation of the server. She was friendly and helpful but the tacos were meh. Notparticularly fresh tasting or flavorful. We split the brownie with ice cream for dessert. It was a warm brownie with ice creamso it got the job done but not outstanding. It would have been great for the server to bring additional plates in these COVIDtimes (because it's not over even though people are over it) instead of just bringing two spoons and the main dish. It was abusy night and the table on the other side of the heater had 4 people. The server didn't step all the way under the awning towork with that table. She stood right behind my chair and yelled in to them. It was noisy on a Friday night so sitting outsidewas not as nice as it was with the parklets (oh how I miss those!). To combat the noise she had to yell, right over myhead. All in all, it was great talking with my friend, we shared a few tasty dishes, and the service was friendly. I don't seemyself coming back. UPDATE: Thanks for the personal reply LU 271 but if all you got from my review was about the lacklusterfood...you are missing so much of the point. Read more

Came here on a Saturday at noon so peak lunchtime, but it still was super fast service - we got seated right away. Good: I... really liked the french toast here - it's nicely toasted and griddled so it has a really nice fluffy texture. Also, the mac andcheese was AMAZING here - I don't think I usually get mac and cheese for breakfast, but it made a lot of sensehere. Bad: Wasn't as much of a fan of the burger - it was a bit hard to cut and had a lot of flavors. Definitely had to flagdown the waiters to get the right menu and also the check - so it was more of a slower process and extended brunch which Ididn't mind too much. Overall much better experience than the 3 star rating that I saw on Yelp! Read more

Cute place. But…. Very disappointed. The cheesy bread came out cold. Risotto with asparagus and Mary’s chicken sounds good... on paper but not at all what I expected when the plate hit the table. Looked like dog food (check out the photo below). I wasexpecting some freshly grilled asparagus and roasted chicken with some well done risotto. Not at all what I got on my plate. The risotto was unevenly cooked. Overall very disappointing!!!! Best part of my experience was the outdoor heated lamps and themargarita!!! Read more
