Not to mention, it’s the best steakhouse in SF Bay Area, rather the best one I’ve ever known. Soft but still chewy, well... heated but still fresh. Bowls, salads, sides are also great, I love lobster bisque and creamed spinach. You’d better reserve aseat before a week because the restaurant is always busy. Read more

Can't believe this place has been here all these years and I have not been here. Very classy old school vibe where the waiters... are wearing bow ties w/ dress shirts and vest. They gave excellent service. Dark and masculine vibe. Steak roll- Good butvery pricey Oyster Rockefeller- Came in hot and melting with butter The bone in rib eye steak was very delicious and perfectlyseasoned and cooked. Great place in the Peninsula for Steak and to celebrate life. Will be back for sure! Cakes were just ok. Read more

Came here for the prime rib! With a reservation, we had a brief wait since it was during the weekend. Once seated, our waiter... was helpful in sharing about the place and getting our drinks. We tried: - Medium rare prime rib: This was tasty. The au jus isserved on the side along with horseradish. We gobbled this up. - Lobster bisque: Tasty, but not my cup of soup. - Clam chowder:An excellent way to start the meal. Dip the bread in! - Bread: The bread was great! It was soft and delicate in the middle, butcrispy on the outside. - Mud pie: This is their famous dessert and it was delicious. An Oreo crust with coffee ice cream? Heckyeah! The whipped cream was a tad runnier than I would have liked Ambiance: I feel like this is the larger part of theirappeal. It's a dark and mysterious restaurant with just enough lighting. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a large partythat had probably too much to drink. Their volume and constant cussing dominated the space our entire meal. Parking: this canget tough. You might need to park a few blocks away to snag a spot. Dress code: to be honest, I usually check pics for dresscode at steakhouses, but upon arrival, I saw plenty of customers in casual clothes (basketball shorts, hoodies, etc). I even sawa few tech workers shuffling in with their backpacks, so I don't think any specific attire is required. Read more

Very yummy food and good services. One missing part from the service was the server didn't ask how we want our slow roast petite... cut prime rib and didn't ask if we need pepper. Other than that it was good. The panko crust calamari is unique and my wife lovethe oyster. Primerib and chicken marsala also yummy. The complimentary dessert was yummy but very filling. Will visit again. Read more

This place have become one of my fave spot for all kinds of celebrations. You can’t go wrong coming here and the service... always top notch! Here are some of my fave dishes and definitely a must if you aren’t sure what to order: 1) Sautéed SeaScallops - just superb and save the sauce for their complementary house bread! 2) Award Winning Clam Chowder- the name said itall! 3) Roasted Prime Rib - yummy! As good as house of prime rib in SF. 4) Can’t go wrong with any of their “fresh fish ofday” I love their fresh and warm house bread - I always ended up eating more than I should. Just so good!! Their service isalways on point but I do have my favorite staff member and his name is Juan! I have the pleasure meeting Juan last Friday and hejust an absolute kind, funny, and professional human being! Read more

My family took me here for my birthday (hence the birthday cake). The food was phenomenal and our waiter (Cash) was legit and he... knew his stuff. He definitely helped with leaving a lasting impression. There was hardly any wait when we requested items foethe table and they have a nice (but limited) cocktail menu. First time here but definitely won't be my last. Read more

What a wonderful experience today. We hadn't been to Sundance in over 5 years and I was so glad to know it had survived the... pandemic. This place is a local jewel and history. The prime rib is always juicy and soft. It was a bit bland but with the aujus and a bit of salt, it is just perfect. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and was very flavorful. Potato skins weremarvelous. Linguini was well prepared but a bit on the bland side, again, I'm nit picking. And the crème brûlée just out ofthis world. Finally everything was in healthy portions. Combine this with friendly and empathetic service and you have a 5 starsteakhouse experience. We left heartful and happy. Will return! Read more
