Nut allergy friendly, some dishes with nuts but you can let the staff know. Food: 5/5. Stellar tender beef (shaking beef),... flavorful, slightly sweet, nicely balanced fish (cod), and sticky but not too salty coconut fried rice (empress fried rice, wishit had more protein). Perfect two entrees and a rice dish for two people. Got the banana beignets for dessert and it was a nicetouch for a birthday, but I'd rather walk nearby to get some soft serve for the cost. Service: 4/5. Waiter was great, fastservice too, but some amenities were not up to par. My napkin was ripped and the plate we got dessert on had some burned peppersthat affected the flavor of the dessert. Atmosphere: 3/5. This place is PACKED on a Tuesday night at 7pm. We had a reservationfor 2 and got seated fine, but it was very full and waiters were constantly bumping into my seat. It's also a bit chilly inside. However, the lighting is perfect and decor is nice. Overall, the food and elegant atmosphere gives it a 4.5/5 for me. Twoentrees, rice, and dessert total $120 with tax and tip. Read more

Always one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in the Bay Area, in my opinion. We had our anniversary dinner here and it... couldn’t be better. They gave us complementary anniversary dessert too. I’ve been here more than 10 times and I’ll be backagain for sure! The clay pot fish never disappoints, and the tasting plate for appetizer is a must! Read more

Must try the “Shaking Beef” and the “Rice Empress” — both fantastic dishes, and most popular according to the host.... Ride Empress is mixed table-side and has phenomenal flavor. Ambiance of the restaurant was great; a great spot for a date nightor quick bite after exploring Palo Alto. Read more

The decoration of this restaurant is very nice, This actually a fancy Vietnamese restaurant. The food taste very delicious, one... of their starter name Tamarine taste are very tasty. Service here are good they close at 10pm but if there still have customerthen they will wait and also they won’t bring the bill out if you won’t asked them. However, there are still some problemsthat need to be fixed! Like they should bring all the dishes at the same time, secondly they need to learn the table etiquette, finally when they change plates they also should change cutlery! Overall it’s still very good place !!! Lifetime experiment!!! Read more

Used the opportunity to book a private event with the private dining menu. It was a party of 9 people so we used a sectioned off... portion of the dining room although they had plenty of space if you wanted to host a larger event with more people. The food isbeautifully presented and some dishes were a delicious standout compared to others. The brussel sprouts, shaking beef, riverprawns were super delicious and the dessert was talked about afterwards with praises from everyone. Other dishes were not quiteup to par with the premium expectations of the restaurant. Service was extremely courteous and quick. Read more

Originally was going there for lunch, but had a last minute change. Called them up and was able to change for dinner instead.... Very friendly and very helpful. We were promptly seating when we arrived. The staff was very attentive. The restaurant has anice ambient. The appetizers were delicious. The Hoisin Lamb Chop is a must have - tender and juicy. Also, best margaritas. Read more

One of my favorites. The menu is delicious and a little creative. The appetizers are all so good that I’ve opted to order tons... of them to share family style with my party, instead of all doing individual entrees. Standout appetizers and side dishes: tealeaf beef, the taro rolls, honey squash soup (seasonal), fried calamari (they are the only place I know who can offer a glutenfree version), and their arugula salad with persimmon (divine). Standout entrees: they’re all pretty solid. I really enjoythe clay pot cod and duck dishes. Standout desserts: the tapioca pudding is delicious but know the pandan sorbet that comeswith it is very, very sharp and tart. The passion fruit pavlova is a consistent crowd pleaser. Read more

Came here on a whim craving something different. Walked in and the hostesses quickly sat us at a great table and service was... excellent! I was also impressed by the upscale decor which is not often found in the Bay Area! All of the food was excellent, especially the clay pot cod and the the Paratha and curry. Those are definitely must try items! Will definitely be back to trymore. Read more
