Great food and friendly staff. We were here from out of town and my wife has a gluten allergy and they had a gf menu available... and were super helpful about it. Ribs and briscuit were awesome. Cornbread was fantastic. Fries also good. Would recommend toanyone. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant - eating out with allergies is often tough and you made it easy! Read more
Wow! Really love this place. Went for 1st time after friends recommendation and may have new favorite restaurant. Quick service... and generous portion size. Meatiest sandwich ever. I had pulled pork sandwich which was moist, delicious and huge. 6 differentbbq sauces to pick from, large dining room, convenient location on 23rd street. If you like bbq, give this place a try. Been dying to try Mission BBQ and finally made it today with my son. We arrived just before 4pm unaware they were closing at 4.... No biggie, we?re said thank you and prepared to leave as another group walked in as we were leaving. We only got a few steps outof the door and we?re called back inside and informed they would remain open a little longer. We placed our order and receivedour meal very quickly. All of the staff were amazing and friendly even while staying open later to serve customers. Then to topit all off the meal was DELICIOUS. I left a nice tip but they all deserved much more. Thank you to all the staff working today,I really can?t give enough praise. We will most definitely be back and recommend Mission BBQ to all. Read more

Great first time experience! The staff were great, generous, and the food was excellent. All of the food in this photo (pulled... chicken disappeared before photo) was around $12, so a great deal as well! You can also order online from their website, soyou'll get it faster than the warp speed you get in person. They get busy, but it's worth the short wait. Also, they've got thatgood ice! Read more

Brisket was not the norm for me personally. It was chewy and not easy to cut. It did have a good flavor. The mac'n'cheese was... good. I tried and enjoyed the assortment of sauces. Very interesting flavor profiles. The staff were wonderful. Read more
Giant American flag ???????? outside need I say more... This place is all American, military ?????????, and local supporting by... the inside decor display. Very clean including bathrooms. Fast service, food prepared in the open for you to see. The fries arenever frozen and they are very good. I got the brisket sandwich and as you see in photo it was a whopper ???? serving piled up.They have 6 different sauces at the table. I tried all of them and couldn't decide they were all so good. They also have a goodole bottle of NC vinegar mix up at each table that shows the wisdom of this restaurants cookery. It goes great in the sandwich.This place is definitely navy and air force friendly as I watched them enter and leave repeatedly. They also have beer on tap. I've been to the other bbq places in town and I would say for the price and quality ( which they are all good) this place winsout by an arms length ????. Read more
