Pompano Joe’s is located in Pier Park just on the other side of Front Beach Road which is basically on the beach. Great... atmosphere but in a really busy area. During the summer and holiday weekends this place is packed!!! If you like young kidswith loud cars and loud music then this place is for you during these times. During other times, it can be really peaceful andrelaxing. The food was OK and definitely nothing above average but not bad. If you are price sensitive like me, DO NOT GO TOTHIS PLACE!! The Chicken Tenders which is just chicken tenders and fries is $22.99!!!! That’s outrageous and gives you aprice point of food here. I paid just about that for shrimp and Mahi-Mahi at another restaurant. The prices here aredisgustingly high and we won’t come back! Read more

We had a great experience! A few years ago when we vacationed in Destin, we ate at the other location, so we had to stop by this... one when we were in PCB this year and it did not disappoint. Our waiter was fantastic; did magic tricks with our 4-year-old,recommended great menu items, attentive, and friendly. We ordered fish and chips (bite size pieces that were very juicy andflavorful), fish tacos, and grouper with crab on top (yum!). Everything was wonderful! Perfect location, right across from thebeach and pier, at the front of Pier Park. They had ample seating inside and outside. There was a great covered patio as well asadditional seating that was not shaded. All of the staff was friendly. A fun place with some great food and drink options. The deep fried mushrooms are outstanding, they are sliced instead of whole... mushrooms (which are normally dripping with oil). These were light, crisp, and delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Nice drinks also. Thought the food was a bit speedy, until it arrived. Generous portions and prepared perfectly. Food was so good. Service was good but sort of slow. We werent checked on again until our check was brought out. There was a... couple next to us that arrived just before we ordered. We ate appetizers, dinner and left and they still hadn't gotten refillson their first drinks or had their orders done. Same server as ours. Read more

We were seated outside and had a great view of the sunset. It was worth the 30 minute wait to be seated on a Monday night. The... place was packed but we didn't wait very long for our drinks and apps. Our server was Riley(?). He was very friendly, had agreat attitude despite being busy and were attentive to us. We ordered the Calamari, Seafood gumbo, Grouper Marsala and MahiMahi and shrimp, they were all very delicious! I'll definitely be back again when I'm in town. Read more

Loved it! We had lunch on the patio here. The Reggae rolls were so yummy! I thought they would be wrapped in a egg roll wrapper... but it was more like a thin fry bread. The taste of island was a dance for my taste buds. Loved the mango papaya sauce on therolls and the shrimp. The coconut shrimp were crispy and plump. So yummy! Isiah our server was fantastic! We really enjoyed our visit. Service was very friendly and efficient. I had been looking for coconut shrimp and read a few bad... reviews for this restaurant. I ordered the coconut shrimp and enjoyed it! The batter was a little thick but I still liked it. Myhusband got the Jerk Chicken dinner and said it had great flavor. We also had cocktails and key lime pie for desert. To top offour evening, there were fireworks at the pier.! Our waiter was sweet and said we could stay as long as we liked. Great service.Definitely recommend a reservation to decrease wait time. But most walk ups still had only a 20-30 min wait during a busyFriday night. Would certainly return!
