We were seated immediately. The place is nice. We ordered fried green tomatoes, chicken and waffles and the two piece white with... Mac and cheese. Everything was decent but not great. It lacked seasoning. The green tomatoes lacked tang and the chicken wasbland. The waitress said the hush puppies were jalapeño cheddar but they were just cornmeal. Read more
My wife and I try to eat at local restaurants when we are out of town and heard this was a good one and we were not... disappointed, we both had a burger( I guess if there was any complaint at all it would be we had no choice on how it was cooked)they were a little over done but still very good, my wife had the fried ochre with hers and loved it. Don?t expect this to be a seafood place! Their specialty is CHICKEN! The menu contains mainly fried entrees. There is a... choice of grilled or blackened chicken breast as well as fried. I enjoyed the wicked chicken sandwich. It is HUGE! I had toeat it with a fork because I couldn?t open my mouth wide enough to bite it. Oh but is was so GOOD! This is one of my favorite lunch spots. Good fried catfish, great fried chicken and good southern sides. Their burgers are... really good! Hand made with fresh never frozen beef makes a difference! Excellent staff, cool atmosphere, cold beer, a patio ifyou want to sit outdoors, and cold AC if you need a break from the FL heat. Highly recommended. Read more
We made a last minute decision to stop in for dinner on a Tuesday night. We arrived around 4:30 and were sat right down. The... food was great and the atmosphere was even better. The kids spent their time doing a scavenger hunt at the table and we spentour time eating the best cheese curds we have ever had. The Wicked Wheel is a great example of a themed restaurant! It?s got such a wonderful eye catching motorcycle theme. As soon as... you walk in you are greeted by wonderful staff and great decorations and motorcycles to really make it feel like an oldmotorcycle dive bar that is family friendly haha! The menu has a wide selection to choose from. I decided on the popcorn shrimpwith hush puppies and fries, as well as a pulled pork sandwich with side of fries. The staff was on it! Great service and food! It was pretty empty while we were there so we were seated and taken care of immediately. Our server was... great and the food was delicious with large portions. I had the Bacon BBQ burger with candied bacon and it was great, the friedokra side was larger than I expected and very hot and fresh. We ordered takeout, but it had a nice aesthetic inside. They got the takeout order completely right - which is always a good... start. The food was really good! I got fried chicken and it was the best fried chicken I?ve had from a restaurant in quite awhile. Everyone really enjoyed their meal.
