My first visit to The Port restaurant was amazing!!! The food was generous, very tasty, reasonably priced, and a wonderful view... of the lake! I had the fried chicken special, very light crispy batter, with a lot of flavor! The crab cakes appetizers werebeyond perfect! The sauce for them was so good you could put it on any thing!! Service was good, food not so much. Philly sandwich was terrible. Hardly any veggies, yellow cheese, and dry meat. Sad part is... according to the menu Chef Mike is from Philly and knows Phillys. Not sure what he knows about them but its lacking. You couldget this exact replica at a dive bar for half the price they charge here. Our view was gorgeous of the lake & this place is a tradition in my family going there whenever family is visiting from out of... state. Our server was awesome we had a party of 6 adults. The prices were a little high we thought for the quality of the food,I know everything has gone up everywhere. Server kept the drinks coming & she was friendly. We ordered appetizers, the calamariwas horrible very unappealing. The almond crusted chicken strips were delicious as were the mushrooms. Our main meals were 1.Steak de burgo delicious. 2. Mahi Mahi not that great, odd taste. 3. Steak & Salmon,salmon came out raw very raw returned noproblem. 4. Ruben delicious. 5. Pasta cavatelli delicious. 6. NY strip cooked perfectly. We took my mom here for the Mother's Day brunch buffet. The dining area was clean, and the buffet had quite a few meat choices... to select from. Chef Mike does a great job. Read more

I've only eaten here on Sunday for breakfast but it's very good. It's also reasonably priced which is hard to find these days. I... had the chicken fried steak and eggs with hashbrowns and toast. Very filling. Coffee is good also. They do serve mimosas andbloody Mary's. Read more

We stayed here for our back home reception and we really enjoyed it. Clean room, great view out of the back with the lake.... Friendly, accommodating staff. Overall it was excellent.
