I ordered one of my favorite meals and was left so disappointed. I got the 3 cheese penne and honey pepper chicken strips. The... noodles were dry and sauce less when brought to me. Then I asked for alfredo sauce before its inedible and I was brought the 3cheese sauce that tasted TERRIBLE. it was bacon milk.... soggy slimy bacon and milk. I left the restaurant with a full plate andI was starving. The manager decided to take 8 dollars off my food when I literally left a full plate. The sweet tea wasn'tdrinkable either. I took 2 drinks amd decided it was way to sweet to drink and asked for water.. charge for that too. Myhusband and I snuck away during the school day to have a nice lunch and was so very disappointed. And then to be charged evenhalf priced for TERRIBLE food was a let down. Wont be back for a while. Read more
Absolutely terrible. Table was so sticky the menu stuck to it. The flies were awful. Ordered the 2 for 29. Got the spinach... artichoke dip, the riblets, and the bourbon Street chicken. Chicken and potatoes were dry and tasteless. The spin dip had way tomuch spinach and artichoke in it and the chips looked like leftover chips from other people's plates. Only people in there whenwe ordered and it took 30 minutes to get our food. The waitress didn't check on us but once and asked if we wanted our to goboxes. We had barely started eating our meal. Then when we finally asked for the check it took another 30 minutes to get it.This particular Applebee's has majorly gone downhill. I can now see why we were the only ones there. Won't be going back. Our server was outstanding. Food was decent, but we were exceptionally disappointed with the cook swearing at servers and being... an overall jerk to the servers. Honestly, the management needs to get this under control. We would have walked out had we notbeen so impressed by our server. We should not have to sit down to enjoy a family meal only to be subjected to offensivelanguage. We won?t be returning to this location unless we hear from management that this problem has been addressed. Read more
It was an okay visit. This Applebee's is definitely not what it used to be. I understand times are a little tuffer then they to... be. But to see service on the decline was rough. I am glad the steak had a little seasoning. However, the potatoes and broccoliwas plain and bland. Not sure if this is the new standard so palettes are not offended. The fried shrimp was hot, The onlyreally good thing going for it. We are not sure if a return trip will be in our future. Read more
Overall a very bad experience. When the server came to the table we had just barely gotten seated and she didn't even greet us... just asked what would we like to drink? My wife responded with hi how are you? She replied friendly but was right back to thedrink order. We ordered drinks and she immediately asked if we were ready to order our dinner. We kindly responded back with wehaven't looked at our menus yet. She said ok and charged off to get our drinks. We ordered off the 2 for 29 menu and ordered thespin dip and two mac and cheese plates. Theappetizer cam and the chips they brought half were so crumbled up you couldn't dipthem into the dip. We asked for some more and they brought us a huge bowl of chips that were under cooked. They were cheery sowe asked if they could bring us others to replace them. They said sure. In the mea while our dinner came. My wife's plate wasnoticeably less in portion size. As we started to eat our dinner the replacement chips came and were now over cooked. To thepoint of when you dipped them into the spin dip they broke immediately. The Mac & cheese was horrible. The cheese sauce tastedlike milk. No flavor at all to speak of . the chicken tenders were good thankfully. Needless to say we ate the chicken and leftthe pasta. We had quit going to this location because the service had gotten so bad and had decided to give it a chance hopingit hadn't gotten better. It has been 4 months since our last visit. I've never left a bad review that I can think of. But in this case at Applebees I was let down. Our nachos chips were burnt when... they came out and so were the Boneless Wings. The quesadillas were good but the portion size was very small for the price. I'veattached photos before we tried to eat. We went ahead and ate because we don't like to complain, but I would just like to helpothers. Read more
The last 3 times I've eaten here (over about 2 years time) has been progressively worse each time. This time about half of the... menu was out of stock, the service was incredibly slow (even though we were literally the only table), and the food was subpar.I'm hoping none of our party got food poisoning.
