Reviews for Primo Hoagies in Paoli, PA

I feel as though this location has had its share of "growing pains" and that they have navigated them successfully, whereas... other locations I've been too still have a long way to go. It's common among chain stores like Primos that don't pay well, employ young kids with little to no work ethic, have low morale, and require weekend work. That being said, the Paoli locationwas a breath of fresh air.... I patronized this location twice over the summer. I called once on a Sunday afternoon; politeteenager answered and told me my order would be ready in 15 mins. My travel time to the store is exactly 15 mins and when Iarrived sandwiches were as I had ordered, and all worked out well. In and out in 3 mins. Most recently, had a coupon good foreither the Wayne or Paoli location, called in for 3 sandwiches on a Sunday, failing to mention the coupon(didn't know it had tobe mentioned prior!) arrived minutes later, told the guy about the coupon, he seemed initially annoyed by it, but realized itwas an honest mistake that I didn't tell him about it when placing my order and he still used it and applied the discount. Iwas very pleased both times at this location. 2 for 2 so far. I worked in that area for years (no longer do!) and never setfoot in that store or even knew it was there and generally go to another Primos location closer to where I live, but this spotseems to have it together more than others. Primo is going downhill. Sandwiches have gotten much worse and the prices have gotten much higher. Also got way too much diablo... seasoning making the sandwich unbearable to eat. Read more

Slow, screwed up my order I placed in person. Guy cutting meat was arrogant throwing meat and cheese around . Also expensive for... not a loaded sandwich. Wawa is your best bet in Paoli. Read more

They would be better if they used Sarcones rolls instead of the rubber rolls they use. Meat deserves a better roll. ... A crispy seeded roll on the outside with a soft center is what I prefer. Your rolls on December 23 were not. Read more

One star solely on customer service. I called the store to check hours & employee advised it was within the next 15 minutes. I... then advised I was on my way & asked if I stop by sooner if they could still make a sandwich. Instead of simply saying no whichwould have been understandable given the time, the employee hung up. As a former restaurant employee this is a bad look. Thecustomer should always be provided with respect. Read more

We love Primo but what happened?? So, we typically do not go to Paoli bit we were on our way to the park so we stopped here. I... ordered a turkey schwartzie. Usually , you open the wrapper and it is overflowing the roll. You take a bite and it comes outof the other side. This time, I had to open the roll to find the contents. Same thing for the roast beef and cheese. Werealize food costs are rising but we would rather pay more for a quality sandwich. Service was great though. Disappointed andwe are hoping it's just this location! Read more

Bada Boom with Diablo Cayan Powder is what I always order. Friendly staff and great tasting food. Recommend any time!

My rating is not based on the food, which is generally a good sandwich shop across all locations. My issue is over how the... service was sub par... I walked into an empty shop a little after 1:30, reviewed the menu and placed my order for an Audiablo. The employees appeared to be going about their tasks in a relaxed way, probably because their lunchtime rush was over - no bigdeal. After I place my order, I went and sat to the side to watch TV while I waited. After a couple minutes, I snapped somephotos to upload to Google (timestamp 1:40). A couple other customers come in and order. At 1:52, I notice one of the othercustomers that came in after me got to sandwiches and was sitting down to eat one. I ask, what gives? "Oh well, yours is cookingnow and takes a lil longer. We'll call your name when it's ready." Fine. By 2:02, I had enough waiting and go to check on itagain. Oh, there it is, sitting in a bag on the table behind the counter. Are you serious? Took over 20 minutes to make asandwich and then when it's ready, you don't tell me even after I've had to check on it?!? Just... wow. Sandwich was fine, butcaked in onions. I like onions, but no one likes that many onions. Tl; dr: call your order in ahead of time unless you don'thave anywhere to be for the next hour or two. Read more
