I really wish Hyvee would have kept the breakfast buffet. I tried the wahlburgers. The customer service was not friendly or... attentive. The burger was tiny and bland even with ketchup and mustard. The fries were okay I guess but definitely a rip offlike the rest of the meal. I do not reccomend this place whatsoever. You'd be better off going anywhere else for a hamburger. Read more

The food was good but nothing really stood out. We came here for dinner on the late evening and wanted to give this place a... shot. We have never eaten at Wahlburgers and I?ve always heard about the popularity of the franchise. The food was real good theportion sizes were fine and everything seem to be cooked fresh to order. The only negative thing I have to say about this placewere the prices. I really didn?t feel that the pricing was justified by the quantity or the quality of the food. Again don?t getme wrong the food was good but for the prices that you pay it?s definitely hard to return. The facility was clean and the staffwas real nice. Overall I would return here, but I would have to really be hungry and really do it out of convenience. Read more

Family and I went here a couple of weeks ago. It was my first time at a Wahlburgers, and I really enjoyed it. We all got burgers... of different kinds, it was a pretty good burger as far as chains go. I was blown away by the sweet potato tots?I kind of havecraved them ever since. We also greatly appreciated the special of kids eating for free with adult meal. Probably the biggestbenefit that took this from a four star to a five star is the friendly help. I don't remember the gal's name, but she wasextremely patient with our kids choosing through the menu and really helpful in helping us determine what we wanted. Read more

I was very hesitant to go here from all of the negative reviews, but I'm really glad I ignored them. My wife and I took our... girls here yesterday night since it was the last night of kids eat free. All of our cheeseburgers were extremely fresh, hot andtasted great. Our girls are picky eaters and they ate all of there food and loved it. The onion rings are a bit off putting theway they look, but they taste WAY better than they look. The fries were a little bland and slightly undercooked, but afterputting a little salt on them they were still very good. I got my "Wahl" sauce on the side of my burger, because I wasn't sureif I was going to like it or not, but I thought it was delicious. Had a ketchup like taste, but something was added to it thatgave it a very unique smooth tasty flavor. The prices were a bit high, but if they keep giving out that quality of food, we willdefinitely be back. Service was also great. The woman that helped us put our order in was very helpful/friendly and madeordering very easy for our first time. We were then checked on 2 different times by a very polite gentlemen after we got ourfood. Overall very great experience for me and my family. Read more

Eh, have definitely had better burgers and fries and definitely for cheaper! Food came out quickly and hot but that is about the... only good thing. The burger had zero seasoning. Seriously tasted like they threw 2 patties together to make this juicy lucy withno seasoning. The bun was nicely toasted. The fries were crispy but severely undersalted. Nothing makes this place stand outexcept for the high price! Read more

Never had a Wahlburger before but I thought the burger was excellent, it's pricey for what you get but the flavor was really... good, one of the best burgers I've had. Everything tasted fresh, my wife and daughter really liked it as well. Read more

Better off buying the Wahlburgers burgers in meat department and making them yourself. The burger I got was teeny tiny and dry.... The onion rings are just so so. Husband and son each had a Super Melt and the bread was barely toasted. More like dry breadrather than toast. Again the meat was dry. We spent over $50 for this unfortunate meal and would have rather eaten at home. Iam thinking the Hy Vee Wahlburgers location are nothing like the original. Pretty sure they can do better. At least try. Read more

I?ve been to a Wahlburgers building in Kansas. After a rocky first time, I grew to love their food. Truly. When I saw this was... opening at Shadow Lake, and I would be here - it was very exciting. I arrived later in the night, on Grand Opening night to asemi-crowded restaurant. The concept of paying and ordering ahead is much different than the normal server one. As for anatmosphere, it definitely didn?t feel like a Wahlburgers. The bar wasn?t serving alcohol, which was a bummer. However; sightsaside how about the taste?! Meh. The Double Decker did not taste like the Double Decker I had in Kansas. It was most definitelylacking, the meat was chewy, and worst of all I chewed through a light colored strand of hair. Normally, I would have told mywaitress - but the staff was dealing with their own issues. I just cut around it and thankfully didn?t choke on anymore. Therings were great. The Mac and Cheese was flavorless and dry. The fries ok. The chicken strips, what you?d expect. But I leftdisappointed in the experience and slightly grossed out due to the hair in my food. It wasn?t familiar, nor special. Itdefinitely wasn?t the normal Wahlburgers I knew. Read more
