Our brunch on the patio at LON's was perfection! A fellow Realtor who lives locally invited us there. The setting is... beautiful, the service is great and the food (frittata with roasted potatoes) was delicious! We'll definitely return on ournext visit to the Phoenix area. Read more

Amazing place at amazing location. Cool vibes, a good get away to spend the evening. Being an Old Soul, I really liked the... architecture and the food was delicious with good collection of drinks. Patio looks beautiful with peaceful surroundings. I alsoliked the drive nearby area. If you like peaceful, calm, and silent environment to spend time, this place is for you for sure.On price point it?s a bit on upwards but experience was good. Definitely recommend. Read more

Whenever the urge to ?brunch up without fancying up,? hits, I head over to a seedy little dive called Hermosa Inn/LON?s, that?s... smack dab in the middle of a patchy clunk of mesquite and dust called Paradise Valley. When you?re slumming here, it?s best toleave those elitist Beemer or Bentley behaviors behind. I also recommend rolling up in something high mileage/late model ifyou?re door ding or high probability car theft averse. Me? I always employ my rough and tumble Toyota FJ when I roll around thispart of town. Okay, you caught me! I?ve been slightly disingenuous with you up till now. Sorry about that. THE TRUTH: Theysay that perfection once blew into PV, stayed at the Hermosa, ate at LON?s, and left feeling inadequate in comparison. Sincethen, it?s vowed to use the resort/restaurant as a guide for how it can do better. This place is lovely and charming and uniqueand romantic and totally reminds me of being in Santa Fe. Over many visits throughout the years, I?ve never had a bad meal or abad experience here. I recently invited my sweetheart to LON?s for her birthday brunch and they took great care of us? and sheloved it. When the weather is favorable, you can enjoy a nice drink and meal under the expansive canopy of a 100-year-oldMesquite tree. When the weather is on the chilly side; you know, those random 2 days of fall/winter we get around here, you canwarm your bones at one of the cozy fireplaces near the bar. So, when the urge to ?brunch up without fancying up,? hits, roll onover to the Hermosa Inn/LON?s. It?s the ultimate way to get your slum on! Read more

Food was delicious. We sat outside despite of the heat, but it was still ok under shadow of the trees. The inside all the deco... was very nice. I love this place. Read more

Perfectly cooked New York strip, atop beats, potatoes and asparagus. Delightful dinner paired with a half bottle of a 2018 cab... recommended by the wine specialist. The environment is set in an appealing Spanish layout sure to make you feel at home inArizona. If you're in the Scottsdale or Paradise Valley region of Phoenix I would highly recommend this place. Food always to notch. Shrimp Tacos with a glass of Roederer Estate Sparkling wine this time; an amazing combo! The Huevos... Rancheros on the am are one of my favorites. Cappuccino is always excellent. Nice wine program. And of course the patio is themost beautiful anywhere! Read more

This restaurant is like a gem in the desert! The portions are big enough to make you full. I ordered pork chops and I have to... say it was the most delicious. It came with polenta and some smoked broccoli , as well as a glaze on top of the meat. The serverwas nice , but still I had a better service at Phoenician or other resorts. Initially we wanted to sit at the restaurant tablesbut we were told they were all reserved, even though you could barely see anyone there the entire time. We sat at the bar onthe patio , not a big difference compared with the restaurant patio except the tables were tall. Definitely give it a try if youare by Paradise Valley! Read more
