If you like dry, salty and bland this is the place for you. Had the ultimate sampler with the mac and cheese and kegs. Only... thing "ok" was the sausage and the kegs. Mac and cheese had the texture like it was mixed with sawdust. Also had the pork nachosand every bite was different. Not sure if the chips where old and stale, but it wasn't right. Now the beer cheese on top was ok,but I doubt I could bring in my own chips to actually enjoy. Unfortunately this could have been an off night but it was so bad icant justify going back. Read more
It's a good idea... but wayy too small for the crowd, probably fit about 30 people max on the inside and not big enough to serve... actual food, would be better for just a bar with a couple burgers and fried food. Also, an experienced cook would benefit a lot,someone who can do multiple orders not just one at a time and one with speed, especially with how busy it was. I think we werethere for an hour and a half. But it's good food and it will be a nice place in the summer. Also we went on a Sunday and grantedit was the only place open for lunch. It just needs more space for how much they are trying to do with it, it's a good idea buta big idea for such a small space. Read more
WOW. We were headed home on a Sunday around noon, were looking for a lunch spot, and this came up as a suggestion for us in... Google Maps. We just returned from Austin, Texas and ate at Terry Blacks, Salt Lick, and Rudy's. This was just as good asauthentic Texas BBQ! We shared the Rib and Brisket platter with smoked bacon Mac and cheese and Potato Kegs. Think of it as anoversized tater tot with amazing goodness inside. We also shared the Brisket Sammitch with onion rings. Everything was preparedto our liking, fresh, perfectly smoked (very hard to do!). We ate on their rooftop overlooking a lake. Live music was staringat we were departing. Great food, great views. We will be back! Read more

Absolutely take your dining dollars to this local establishment. We had a handful of items between us all. Do: brisket, it's... melt in your mouth with not-too-greasy goodness. Pulled pork: also nice with the little crispy bits. Sauce is rather sweet formy taste, and need more of it, but decent. Chicken strips are a familiar favorite. Burger was super dry and massivelyovercooked, but the flavor was excellent. They did not ask me how I liked it cooked. Sides could be improved, cowboy beans andMac n cheese were stodgy, like leftovers warmed up. Onion rings are not battered and cheese curds were weirdly dry and chewy.French fries were solid though. No ribs were available, so we'll save that for next time, when I am likely to just order yummymeat and take it home. It's worth it, just for the brisket alone. I'm picky, so you might love the sides. Highly recommend the sample platter. Big enough for two to share! Excellent views on a dog friendly patio, amazingly friendly... staff, great BBQ. My husband said his scotch ale was out of this world. Dont understand the bad reviews. Read more
Small place right on the lake, great food and atmosphere. Summer time they have lots of bands. Fall/winter they have sports and... delicious fish fry. Read more
