Horrible slow service and had to throw out cold greasy frys that were so nasty. But service was worse than Horrible food
We went to lunch at LJS Paris KY after shopping for a used car across the street. I ordered the number one meal two piece fish... with a drink and one side. I wanted a side of cole slaw but the new batch wasn't ready yet to serve. So, I got the french fries.Overall the food was good. But, the breading was thick and greasy on one one side of the fish fillets and undercooked on theother side. The french fries were okay. The hush puppies were good. I was excited to see a long johns as we don't have one in lexington anymore. That didn't last long though because the food was... cold in the middle, the girl at the drive through seemed thoroughly annoyed to be there. And also no tarter sauce. I mean ikthings happen but it's a seafood place kinda expect them to have tarter sauce or at least let you know when you order. Who wantsplain, dry fish?? Read more
My food was "ok" chicken was extremely dry though. My dad's fish had brown/grey gooey stuff in it so might want to check for... health code violations. The place smelled like cat urine. Probably won't come back. Read more
This was easily one of the nicest Long John's I have ever been to. The food was also the best quality I've ever had from a Long... John's. The staff is friendly and the restaurant was clean. All of them have closed down in my area so I hope this one remainsopen. Read more
So on August 30th 2022 I placed a large order. It compromised of shrimp, fish, crab cakes, chicken, hushpuppies, and more. We... live 30 miles away so this is a big deal to us. We pay and get a bad of food and head home. Once at home we open it up andrealize they only gave ups a big box of chicken and fries. We called and talked to the manager and was told they would write myname down and give us the correct order for free next time we visited. Fast forward to today 9/22/22, we drove 30 miles to getour order. Once there they told us they would not honor their commitment and yelled at us. I have never been treated like this.We left after 30 miles of driving empty handed. I'll never come back. They pretty much told me to screw my self. Read more
Took over 30 minutes to get our food, although the food was good, employees were not friendly and they appeared disheveled... only one was nice and presentable, I think he was the crew leader. Other people were saying they waited over 40 minutes andone asked for a refund. A few came in from the drive thru stating they had been waiting for just as long as the other guests. A couple came in with wrong orders. We hadn't been to this Long Johns in a while and we won't be going back. Read more
The chicken and fish overcooked, it was hardly edible. Chewy and hard (takes a special kind of talent to make fish like that)... also the chicken and especially the fish has no flavor. The fish sandwich had nothing besides fish (flavorless) and tarter sauce(a sandwich has lettuce, tomato and onion on it). And I will not buy food from there until these things are changed. No onecares so I really don?t believe that it will change. Read more
