I love the service and the fact that it is local. I like the food. Their cookies are to die for although I didn't get cookies... this time. However I feel like the potatoes are getting smaller and yet the prices are still the same or a bit higher. Great food. I didn't really think I'd necessarily like it but turns out I was wrong . I ate the BBQ BBQ baked potato. It was... very good. Comparable to the real deal BBQ house style loaded potato with chopped pork. The so many types of potatoes dishesthere. I still can't get over the fact that they make potato meals totally satisfying. Next time I'm going to try the tacostyle potato. If your in the area I'd recommend trying this place out. They have mr. Potato head toys there to wow the liltumbleweeds , the ladies working there are pleasant and hardworking. Also they have really neat homemade cookies. I think webought two heath bar cookies. If you LOVE potatoes you have to eat here. They have the best potatoes EVER!!! You will not be disappointed.
For a small town restaurant, I think this place is perfection. Yummy food, kid-friendly atmosphere, and good pricing. They even... had Mr. Potato Heads on every table for kids to play with. The portion sizes on the baked potatoes were big. They actually giveyou two baked potatoes on the plate. Also, I grew up on Southeast Idaho and I was very happy to see they use all Idaho potatoesand have a lot of fun memorabilia from Idaho that I always saw as a kid. What a wacky idea for a restaurant! I wasn't sure really what to expect but I like to try the local fare when traveling and I'm... really glad I picked this unique place. I had the brisket potato that comes with beef brisket, cheese, sour cream, bacon andcrispy onions. The crazy thing was really tasty, I highly recommend this place to those looking for a great locally ran place. Read more
If you like big a$$ potatoes filled with whatever food-wise you can imagine than Prater's Taters is where it's at. Lots of... choices and I need to mention the soup. Had the clam chowder and it was fantastic. Highly recommend. Read more
