Honestly don't know how this place gets the rating it does. Maybe because it's in a small tourist area? The burgers were... mediocre. Loaded fries were pretty tasty but it's hard to make a bad batch of those. Cheese and bacon is tough to mess up. Fromthe ratings it had, I was expecting A LOT more. To be honest, walk across the block to 107. If you are a tourist, definitely doso. Better ambiance and food to enjoy your getaway. Read more
Service was great. Food was good. I ordered a Ruben, my brother a Cuban. The corned beef was fine and the sauerkraut tasted... like standard shelf brand. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and didn't have to wait to be seated but they were busy. I waspleasantly surprised by the cost of the beer. I've paid more for soft drinks elsewhere. I saw that others had ordered onionrings that looked delicious. I'll have to try them next time. Read more
Good flavor but the only thing if you get the cheese burger it's paper thin. I ended up taking off the bottom bun just because I... wanted to taste the meat and because the meat was so thin it was more bread than anything. However if you get one of their otherburgers they are more thick and appealing. Also had the pecan pie sundae. That was delicious! Staff was super friendly. Niceplace to stop and eat. Read more
Absolutely loved the food! Atmosphere was inviting and our server was the best!
4.5 stars - lunch time was not too busy on a Tuesday afternoon at Jaxx. We ate here for the simplicity of ordering direct from... the menu without needing to make changes. The portobello salad was good. The kids meal with two chicken tenders was tasty butlacking in food. Service was precise, and timely. The decor is unique and easily remembered. Read more
Awesome place to grab a burger and onion rings! The food was excellent and tasted great. We shared the onion ring appetizer and... it was huge. The bacon cheeseburger was amazing. So many choices but I went old fashioned with my favorite burger. The decor ispretty cool and a great location right off the main street square. Our server took great care of us. She knew the menu well andmade several good suggestions. We will definitely be back! Read more
Our friends got an onion ring tower and a Philly cheesesteak and a patty melt. My husband got an All America (chili dog) and I... got a cheeseburger. Oh and we both got loaded fries Our server was very friendly and welcoming. She took really good care ofus. If you're looking for more than just an ordinary burger, this is your place. Good selection of beer and wine or the occasional... cocktail. Children's menu as well as great salads, chicken fried steak or chicken. Great appetizers also. Read more
