We spent two nights at the Grand Victorian Inn in October 2022. The owners, Gary and Karin, are extremely pleasant and very... accommodating. Our accommodations were very comfortable. And the breakfast was delicious. Gary makes phenomenal French Toast. The Inn still has a great deal of the old world charm in the architecture - like the pocket doors, wood finishing and beautifulstair case. I can only imagine this place in its original capacity. The Inn sit on the edge of an operational railroad, whichkeeps the original feel of the property. Its a great place to stay and we will be back!!! The owners have saved a piece ofhistory and its beautiful. Read more

Location near Diamond Caverns and a hiking Trail. Twenty minutes from Bowling Green (Corvette Museum and Factory, along with... Antique Mall across the street) Innkeeper let us use breakfast area Friday night when our group brought food, which was nice sowe could all sit together (was locked Saturday). No common area, just a victorian sofa in first floor foyer, one on landing upthe stairs and one in second floor hall along with two chairs, where we sat. Also had plenty of porch rockers. Coffee was notserved until 8am CST (9am EST). Room and bathroom were clean. Bed mattress was very soft. Could not open window in our room asthey were painted shut, fortunately there was an oscillating fan on the desk. Bathroom was updated and had a small table to putthings on. Handles on sink faucet were wing type, so every time water turned on and off the soap bottle had to be moved (sinkhad no extra space - would be better to have wall-mounted soap dispenser). Our door would not stay closed because the toggle wasmissing that clicks into the latch, so we always had to deadbolt the door. This is right by the train track, so people whostayed in the room facing the track did not sleep well Saturday night, they said train went by at least five times. Read more

My wife and I decided to book our hotel here after our wedding. The hosts were super sweet and even upgraded our room for free... after learning we were newlyweds! The room was adorable and the bed was AMAZING! I swear I fell into a coma whenever I slept onit. We're totally thinking of visiting this place again next year for our anniversary! Overall a fantastic experience in a verycomfortable room. Read more

Such a cute, quaint bed and breakfast! Loved the breakfast and sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch. Took a star off... since our bed wasn?t the most comfortable (dipped in the middle so you would slide down into it) and it?s located next to thetrain tracks and could hear the train come by at night. Otherwise we had a fabulous stay! Convenient stay if visiting MammothCaves (15 min drive) Read more

We chose the Grand Victorian Inn as our lodgings for a weekend trip to Mammoth Cave and boy am I glad we did! The ambiance is... welcoming and warm, a charming step back in time. Our room was private and clean, with an on-suite bathroom, and breakfast inthe morning was delicious. Thanks so much to the Grand Victorian Inn team for such a wonderful place to spend the weekend! Be ready to step back in time. Do you remember when hotels had actual keys instead of cards? Well, the Grand Victorian Inn took... me back to that time with a front door key and a room key. The room was wonderful. I was able to sleep soundly both nights, andit usually takes me a day or two to adjust when I travel. The hosts were amazingly welcoming and friendly. The morning breakfastis fantastic. The Inn itself is full of Victorian treasures and holds true to its name. My only "complaint," if you can call itthat, is that there was no recycling available. That may be a locality thing, and it's no trouble to pack recycling for when Iget home. HIGHLY recommend a night or three at this Inn! Read more
