Food and customer service review Food: not Mexican. It is Mexican adjacent or ?ish? but not Mexican, this is closer to tex mex... but not tex mex, which is bland US version of Mexican. The rice is interesting. Not Spanish rice but not bad. Cleanlocation Good flavor - pollo abada Fresh flour tortillas but they use margarine. This is 2022 and I thought we knew palm oil andMargarine were heart stoppers. Fresh looking pico Decent sauce flavors Music is Katy perry and soft pop. Service was great andquick! The plus Decor is funny and it looks like they went to a border town and grabbed. Few pics of things to copy and genericplates and mirrors you can get at the TJ border. tourists from Minnesota and Kansas will be impressed. Metro city dwellers willbe sad. Vacationed in Park City last week. Was quite disturbed to find a heart artery in my burrito. *see photos*
We took a trip to Park City last weekend & were thrilled to find a place open Sunday night that wasn't McDs & similar. The... gentleman that helped us right away was VERY nice! We asked for fire grilled chicken on 2 out of 3 orders & shredded pork on theother. He even repeated it back to me. Everything went great UNTIL back at hotel (The Wyndham) and started to eat. We all hadsome type of meat that reminded my husband of spicy jerky. The rest of us just knew it wasnt chicken. We didn't go back formultiple reasons (closed by then was one). For $56 we just wanted what we ordered. 2 picky teens didn't eat due to that problem.We've eaten Cafe Rio plenty of times in SLC. We are very familiar! Read more
The place was fulled the day we went in. The staff moved fast in order to have minor time wait for customers. Defenetly one of... the best places to eat. Love their steak salad! Thank you for a great customer service. I gave you 5 stars on food. 4 on thefacility they only have one bathroom for each genre and those times when the place is full the wait line is longer than the linefor food lol! Read more
I would eat at this restaurant on a regular basis for the taste and quality of their food but they never get my order online... correct. Since I eat at my desk regularly this is a serious issue. Today I was convinced by a co-worker to try again andordered a tostado with lettuce, pork barbacoa, shredded cheese and salsa. Very simple, no sauces, no cojita no rice, no beans. Should have been very simple. It came covering in cojita and sauce. I just threw it away and ran out for a sandwich. For theprice I expect at least what I ordered. Read more

I don?t know what it is about this location but the ingredients, flavor of everything tastes much better than any other cafe Rio... I?ve been to. The flavors just taste strong and richer. It must be the cooks and friendly staff here. Fantastic food! Thankyou! Read more
