Courchevel. Oui, oui, oui. Courchevel is a standout restaurant in Park City. It has a marvelous cozy atmosphere with a helpful,... congenial staff. They serve French cuisine so do not expect the standard meat and potatoes fare. We have eaten here 5 times inthe last 12 months and it is consistently one of the best if not the best place in town. The menu does change seasonally butsome favorites like the duck breast are always available. The meals may have a French flair but there is something for everyoneon the menu. Mara, our server extraordinaire, had great recommendations for food and paired wines. We highly recommendCourchevel where you can experience some joie de vivre. Read more

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing time. The appetizers are wonderful, we had the steak tartar and the trout rillettes.... Both were delicious. Our favorite part was the service. Clement the executive chef is amazing. Bruno the bartender is awesome. And they have the best sommelier Bill who can help you pick out a bottle of wine from the best wine list we've seen in Parkcity. Last night in PC and we decided to try Courchevel. The restaurant interior was pleasant with a nice view of the mountains. We... started with the Baked Brie which was good. Presentation was very nice. We also enjoyed the steak frites. The mushroom pastadish was really underwhelming. The pasta was undercooked and included vegetables that seemed steamed verses sauteed. Theattached photo is the short rib dish that we ordered. I think the photo speaks for itself - this was not a short rib dish thatyou anticipate from a French restaurant. Finally, for the level of dining, we weren't impressed with the service. Read more

We were thrilled with our experience here. All the food was great. My friend loved his chicken dish and I loved the vegan pot... pie. We were also very impressed with the desserts. Our server, Dakotah was very attentive. Don?t forget to make a reservationahead of time. We were glad we did. The hostess was also very welcoming. Read more

There are two reasons for it not being 5*. The cons: First, the service was spotty. Waited a long time to get the server, then... later he would walk past and fill other table's waters, but not ours...and the restaurant wasn't full. Second, the elk was tough- twice. This is not the server's fault, but the chef's. I had had the best elk tenderloin the previous night at Twisted Fern. The pros: The wine selection was good by the glass. The charcuterie plate was fan-tas-tic. I only wish I had been served morethan the heel of the loaf of (very tasty) wheat bread. My husband had the mushroom pasta which was wonderful. The accompanimentswith the elk were wonderful, but the elk was tough (overcooked the first time). They did redo it and was cooked to temp (med.rare), but it was still tough. Besides the charcuterie, the BEST thing was the apple beignets. They are fried, battered appleslices served with both a decadent caramel and a vanilla creme anglaise. Read more

Porcini soup was good. Elk dish was lacking some flavor for me. Also service was not on par with the prices they charge. Our... waiter never even asked what temperature we wanted elk and duck cooked. Good that we didn't mind eating rare meat. Also he neverintroduced himself. Read more
