The service, food, and drinks here hit well above the weight of a restaurant in Utah. I was actually a bit surprised at this,... because too much of the "fine dining" in Utah is always conspicuously dropping the ball on one of those three concepts -service, food, or drinks. In fact, I'd say Firewood was the first Utah restaurant I've been to that I didn't come away thinkingit wouldn't last in a city with real high end concept restaurant competition. All the courses' flavors were immaculately tiedtogether as a culinary experience, and the waiter's recommendations were spot-on without being in the way. Drink menu was amplewithout being archival, and what's on offer has definitely been curated to compliment the taste rather than going for "maximumoptions." Read more
Absolutely amazing great staff too. Fine dining at its peak. Everything we had from start to finish was perfect. Our waitress... was extremely helpful and provided in depth information on the dishes. If you can somehow sneak a reservation in you will not bedisappointed. Read more
Wow!!!! This place is absolutely phenomenal. We have found our go to nice Park City restaurant. The staff was nice from the... minute we entered the restaurant until the end of our meal. Our waitress was very friendly and super professional. We eachordered an appetizer and an entree and shared a dessert. It was just the right amount of food. The portions were nice sizes. Iknow they change their menu often and I’m sure you can’t go wrong with anything but if you ever get the chance to get thecheesecake as dessert it was the best cheesecake we have ever had! Not only was the food amazing the the atmosphere in therestaurant is top of the line. From a great view into the kitchen to the decor that is simplistic , rustic and charming all atthe same time it is a place you could keep coming back to again and again and just feel so cozy. This is a restaurant with impeccable service and delicious food. We sat next to the kitchen and could see the chefs while we... were eating, so we had a great time watching the show. The food was delicious. Our table had the elk, salmon, and lamb and werecompletely impressed with the food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves fine dining, fast service, anddelicious food. We walked in without a reservation since we arrived as they opened, but I would recommend a reservation since itdoes get quite busy. Read more
Firewood is amazing! Everything from the ambiance to the desserts are incredible! The wagyu bavette ( flank steak) medium rare... is the best steak I’ve ever had!! My first time having firewood grilled steak….delicious! The service (Kelli) also great????!! Read more
Way cool atmosphere but food was good. Did not taste much of the wood smoke and the chicken was a bit dry. I had the Kobe flank... steak and it was really good. Note: we are gluten and dairy free, so they had to make accommodation as and were great at doingso. So this may have effected the normal entree. Staff was great! Read more
Fantastic atmosphere in a great downtown district. Got the Wagyu beef along with potatoes and peppers. Perfectly cooked and they... do a great presentation. Appetizers were okay (reason for the 4 stars and not 5). Would definitely come back. Read more
