Three of us had an outstanding early dinner at Tupelo in Park City Utah. The outside of the restaurant is unassuming but inside... the restaurant is set up more like a fine dining establishment. Our waitress was Hallie and she provided outstanding service, was friendly, always kept an eye on our table and was extremely prompt. We had the Trout, Beef, and Pork Shank and all wereprepared perfectly and tasted amazing. Prices for food and drink are high so be prepared. Read more

This was apparently the place to go for a good bite in Park City so I have to factor in the hype behind the place. The location... is gorgeous, it’s well done and very clean. The space has this rustic American feel to it, which fits very well with ParkCity. Food wise, the appetizers were delicious! Everything was delicious, fresh, and had great flavours. The sprouts were myfavourite, and the octopus was good too. Cocktails were also very good and created with care. So far so good! That got me hypedfor our mains. I regret getting the steak, not that it wasn’t good, but it wasn’t great either. It felt fairly plain, lightly seasoned, no charring, and the meat texture wasn’t great. Out of everything I had, the main was lacklustre. Ifyou’re looking for a steak, there are better options out there. Dessert, however, was great again. The apple fritters are amust have! Overall, it was a good experience, though next time I visit, I will try a different main instead. Read more

A fun place to grab a bite to eat! Tupelo serves great American food. We got a few starters to share, some of the highlights... included the Utah peach salad, tuna tartare, and the fall green salad. Everything was very fresh and tasted great. For mains Igot the Beef and Barley. Now let me tell you, that was a great steak, a highlight for sure. The Idaho trout was nice andrefreshing, and the scallops was light and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend! Read more

The ricotta toast appetizer was the star. Perfect combination of flavors. The drinks were divine. I got the crispy pork belly... and the polenta was perfect. Read more

It’s very nice to have Tupelo back. The new space doesn’t quite have the character of the original on Main Street, but... it’s very lively and inviting nevertheless. We really enjoyed everything we ate. It was beautifully plated and expertlyprepared. The fried chicken was truly fantastic. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient. In Park City, this is one of afew excellent high-end choices. Read more

New location is gorgeous, we loved the interior. Everything we had was good. The pig cheeks were tender and delicious, the... salads were fresh, and the foie gras was yummy. We also loved the biscuits. The trout and the short ribs were the mostappreciated mains. Would have liked larger vegetable and starch portions with the mains, you could go home hungry with just amain course here. Expensive, about $140 per person with one cocktail, wine and tip. I'll start with the pros: Beautiful build out and beautiful presentation of the food. The cons are too numerous. First was the... Pork Belly appetizer. The pork belly was beautifully prepared, but the apple cider vinegar sauce was overwhelming. I love a goodhot German potato salad, but the variation of their sauce was awful. The Steelhead trout was good (note: Steelhead is pinky likesalmon, not a typical trout). It was fine, but the seasoning on the green beans overwhelmed the delicate taste of the fish(although I loved the green beans). The elk Bolognese had such a smoky taste that it could have been regular ground beef andits pasta was overcooked. The molten brownie wasn't molten or a brownie. It was chocolate cake-like crumble with a hard toffeedisk and scoop of vanilla on top. The only thing hot was the skillet, but the food wasn't. To top it off, the waiter was one ofthe most flippant I've ever had. First, there was no coffee, but the way he told us was, well, odd. (Also, if I had arestaurant, I'd have a pour over available in a case like this). Second, we paid with cash and the waiter said, "Do you have acredit card? I can't break a hundred." What?!? There's an ATM a few steps away. The manager could get $20's if they needed.Magically, we got our change. For a $260 meal (with drinks), I expect more. It seems like they are trying too hard to be unique, and it's not working out. Read more
