Cash only cafe. Great Biscuits and gravy!!! Best cappuccino we have had in the Northwoods.
The food was excellent. The waitress was amazing, answered all our questions, and recommended some cool places in town to visit.
After reading the reviews, we had to come. It's just as the others say. The inside is so much bigger than what it appears on the... outside. Customers of all ages enjoying breakfast. The country steak and eggs was completely homemade from the steak (not ahamburger patty) to the sausage gravy. My husband is an executive chef so we're kind of picky about food and we realize goodhomemade when we taste it. My omelette was good as well. Good OJ, too. Yum! If you are looking for the place where all of the locals go for breakfast the Great Northern Café is the place. It was... hopping but if there is room at a table people share the space so everyone can get in and not wait. Everyone, patrons and staffwere super friendly. Great service. I am on a Country Fried Steak and Eggs quest this summer and theirs is off the chartsdelicious. I want to bottle the gravy. Hash browns were nice and crispy. My wife had their waffle, which was delicious. Do notgo anywhere else. Oh, and cash only, but they do have an ATM! Read more
