Unsure if the management changed here but I was very satisfied with my last visit! Haven?t been here in about 2 years but we... came and got our ?regulars? and were very satisfied with the food. We stopped by for dessert and weren?t impressed. They were out of chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate. The brownies had... nuts on top of them, which were no advertised, which is super frustrating. The brownie sundae wasn?t that great and didn?t havechocolate sauce which the menu said it would have. What I like about the Ridge Diner is that they always handle takeout (via Seamless/GH) in a cheerful and professional manner. ... The food is ready lightning fast and it is waiting for you up front. They even offer you a free dessert from the case. Read more
WORST MEAL OF MY LIFE. As soon as we walked in, the host and entire staff looked unhappy, unfriendly, and had bad attitudes.... Host was a rude man who was very dismissive of customers and their seating requests. No smiles. No customer service whatsoever.Once we were seated at the booth, we waited about half an hour before a server came to take our order. Servers were all over theplace catering to different tables. I ordered the chicken and waffles and my boyfriend ordered whole wheat pancakes. We waitedfor another half hour... we asked our server(s) to check on our meal. They seemed confused. It was obvious they forgot to putthe orders in... once our food arrived, the REAL disappointment kicks in. HOW DO YOU MESS UP CHICKEN TENDERS?! My chicken lookedfake and rubbery. The presentation was AWFUL. Just downright ugly... my high school cafeteria made better meals than this. Ididn't eat the chicken, just the waffle because I was starving. I was just there first time, worth the trip. The portions are very large. mixed vegetable were real not from a can, zucchini,... carrots, broccoli. Freshly grilled, they were softer than usual restaurant fare as I like them. French onion soup was reallygood. plenty of gravy for the mashed potatoes. The service here is great, I?ve been going here for over 20+ years and although I don?t live nearby anymore, whenever I?m in... town I?ll stop by for a combo wrap with mozzarella cheese fries. The service is great and everyone is friendly. Ask for thehoney mustard, it?s amazing!! Read more
Kind, caring, the waiter was fantastic and continuously checked on us to see if we needed anything else and topped up the... coffee, water etc. Food was perfectly cooked. Wonderful community of folks / regulars here. Highly recommended! Read more
