This is a cool little neighborhood Italian joint, with a full-service bar. Pizza is out of this world, but I tried a pasta dish... tonight. The Bolognese was very tomatoey and tart, and they chop up meatballs to use for the meat in the Bolognese sauce. Itcame with a garlic knot and a meatball, and it was just enough food for me. The caramel nut cheesecake at the end of the mealwas really spectacular. I?ve been going to this restaurant for years and never got around to reviewing it. Service is great,selection of food is great, pricing is fair, but it?s just not my favorite Italian joint in South Denver. We love this place but haven't been here in a few months given the whole COVID thing. Glad to finally make it back. Had lunch... here on a Saturday. The food is amazing - got the greek pizza and a cheese with pineapple. Deducting one star because it tookclose to 5min before anyone came and took our drink order. Deducting a second star because one of the plates we were given wasdirty and so was some of the silverware. Regardless, we'll be back and recommend you check this place out......just make sureyou get a clean table setting. Read more
This is my second time coming in. Both times have been exceptional. The pizza is delicious and the prices are good especially... for what you get. Had new servers both times but they were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning. Onlyfeedback would be I've asked for well done and it's not quite there but still very delicious. Sat outside and there was plenty of space for our family of six to relax and enjoy our dinner. The service was fast, friendly... employees and delicious floppy thin crust pizza. We got the Mama Ricci?s Big cookie (comes with ice cream) and we ate it up soquick, could?ve ordered a second. Read more
Steer clear of this pizza joint. Their NY style pizza is nowhere close to the real thing. Had the most depressing meal of my... life here. The house salad was also bad. Had better experiences with a Dole salad kit from the grocery store. This placedeserves to be shut down. You want real NY style pizza that actually tastes good? Go to slice works in downtown Denver.
