Last night we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Parkersburg's olive garden with Ms Raven as our waitress. Our drinks were always... full and we never had to ask for anything because she was always one step ahead of us. Despite being very busy, she made us feellike we were her only table. Not a lot to say about the food…it’s not like you go here expecting fine Italian or anything…it’s basically the... McDonald’s of Italian food…but the service here definitely sets it apart. FANTASTIC SERVICE and super friendly people. Thespinach artichoke dip is pretty good, though. Really wouldn’t recommend the stuffed shells and I know I’m being petty, butif they would use leaf lettuce or a mix of spring greens in the salad instead of iceberg lettuce, the salad would really beawesome. The staff and service at the Parkersburg location was exceptional and very accommodating. A large number of family had come in... town for an unfortunate family emergency and we needed a place to eat very last minute. They very quickly accommodated our largeparty and went out of their way to get our orders out to us quickly. Without a doubt the best team in town and best experienceI've had at an Olive Garden. I want to start off by saying the wait was short, our food was good, & our server was super sweet. However, the standards they... used to have are no longer there. Full hands in, full hands out was completely absent. We had plates & cups stacked on ourtable. (Which is my biggest pet peeve at a restaurant) The waitress stacked some of them on a tray she left next to our tablethat still had the cheese grader on it. That used to be a huge no no. We also saw her leave another tray with a cheese grader atanother table. But she never took it back to the kitchen. Then while we were boxing our food (they used to box it for us) shetook the check & tip away. That used to not be allowed either unless the customer handed it to you. Food was excellent but service wasn't. Waited a long time for our food and it took 3 times to get my daughter's order correct. ... One person got the unlimited soup and salad and one of her soup refills got forgotten. When she said she was still waiting onit, waitress acted like she never ordered it. Never got refilled on bread sticks except for two and was told she was waiting onmore from the oven but then she never brought them. Felt like we were forgotten. Also, I had a coupon for a free dessert formy birthday and they subtracted the cheapest dessert that was ordered and not the one I ordered. Coupon never said it would bethe lowest priced dessert that would be free. Waitress was friendly when she did show up. No wonder there was no wait herewhen all the other restaurants had long waits to be seated. Read more

Noel and I went to Olive Garden today while shopping in Parkersburg WV. The restaurant was packed. Our waitress was super... nice. We love the salad, breadsticks and Alfredo dipping sauce. I must have ate my weight in bread while waiting on my EggplantParmesan and Noel was waiting on her Steak Alfredo. The food was awesome!!! Read more
