So first time leaving review in WV. This place is right down street from Marriott and has an awesome laid back vibe. Menu has... variety. Last night ordered 5 wings.... only got drumsticks, which is weird for me. Tonight grabbed their hayburner burger. The pepper relish is amazing and burger juicy. Fries are coated well and crispy. Beers have a good variety too.. Check thisplace out. Read more

I highly recommend this joint. Great atmosphere good to great food and some amazing beer. Local guys making beer for locals and... old friends. If you are ever in Parkersburg, WV and want to get a beer and a great burger; skid the box store and stupid crowds.Spend your money on true American art. Almost forgot you have to ask about Alice. 1st time here. Service was good and the waitress had a good knowledge of the menu and beer selection. Followed her suggestions... and they were on point. The burgers were really good. The house made sauces and relish were an awesome addition to the burgers. We'll definitely add this to our list of go to restaurants in the area. Read more

Ok, so first off I did get this to go, so it may have taken away from the whole food experience, but here are my thoughts. I... ordered the build your own single burger, and the sampler appetizer, which consisted of: mozzarella sticks, pretzels with beercheese, bacon wrapped jalapenos, and the Scotcha (soft boiled egg wrapped in sausage and deep fried). So the appetizer whilefun, was kinda disappointing in my opinion. The mozzarella sticks (4) were standard frozen cheese sticks, the bacon wrappedjalapenos (2) were ok, not much flavor going on, the scotchas were cool looking and a fun idea, but lacked on flavor to me. Thepretzels (1 cut in half) were the best thing on this plate, but tiny for a $20 app. Perhaps a second pretzel and drop a cheesestick. The 4 dips were nice, but the beer cheese is forgettable at best. Now to the burger. Cooked to perfection, medium, andjuicy, seasoning was decent. The bun was good, but too large for the patty. Had a 1/2 inch of bread clear around the burger.Condiments were on point, bacon crispy, tasty pickle. Fries, again, were ok. Frozen, small portion, served with bacon bits andmore beer cheese when ordering the deluxe version. All in all, a good place to try, but not a place I will be dying to orderfrom again. Might have been better in person with a few beers! Read more

When you're thirsty for tasty beers and hungry for guilty pleasures, Parkersburg Brewing Company is THE place to visit. We have... enjoyed our short walk and lunch here while staying at the Historic Hotel downtown. The beer selection and flavors includingthe seltzer's are awesome. We were a hungry family upon arrival, the food portions were large and the choices were phenomenal. I recommend the burgers, the flavor and toppings are great. Scotched Eggs, um, yes please! For my beverage selection, I reallyenjoyed the "Cell Block 304" Honey Brown Ale. My wife loved "Hip Hef". Also, we tried the Blood Orange Hard Seltzer which wasvery refreshing. The staff was super friendly and the entire wait staff was quick and caring for our table. Congrats toParkersburg Brewing Company for being one of the BEST places in town. We cannot wait to go back.
