Expected better. Lounge is a nice room. Good cocktails but slow coming out. Caesar salad was tasteless and the worst I have ever... had. Tenderloin actually burned/black on one side (surprised it was even served). Prawns served as add-on to steak and a pastadish were served chopped up rather then whole and were salty. Pasta dish was pretty good. Pretty sure the salmon wellington wasa frozen product and wasn’t good, despite being recommended by our server. Veggies served on side were good. Would return fora drink, but not dinner. Kitchen needs some work. Read more
Excellent service and delicious food … we had the sirloin steak prawns and scallops! two thumbs up
1. We wanted to order take out, they didn’t offer the menu for us to look at, we had to “ask” for the menu 2. Egg BLT... pretty sad looking, at least they could put it together and cut it half (this is just a suggestion for future) 3. No utensilsfor “takeout” order. Cedars was a pretty good family experience. They had some good local beer options and the Honey Garlic wings were good. The... littles liked their Pizzas a lot. The Mussels were tasty. I wasnt overly a fan of the Salmon Wellington, unless you like yourSalmon well done. Not much flavor without the "sauce". The items that got this to a 4 star from a 3, wasnt just the service(which was really good), were the desserts: Ice Cream Sandwich, Cheesecake and Smores Ice Cream. Nice and spacious, well laid out to allow easy conversation without feeling like you're disturbing the tables near you. The... service is very good; Adam was friendly and made us feel at home, without coming across as overly familiar; excellent balancefor someone in the service industry. The food is delicious and presentation just made us want to dive right in! I'm lucky tohave the opportunity to take pics at all! A great spot, even if you're just passing through (vs. staying at the resort)! The menu is small, but delicious - each item has... a little something extra that is really unexpected! Great experience at this restaurant. Our server, Joanne, was very personable, and did a very good job serving a large crowd of... eight at our table. Very attentive, and suggested items on the menu that were yummy. The beef dip was especially tasty???? Great atmosphere as well. I love the timbers.
