I went to get a family mealthis evening and we were disappointed. The chicken was good but the mashed potatoes and gravy, well... the gravy was a jelly consistency. Why are yall using chicken fat to make it. GROSS! We could not eat that, so we made our owngravy. ROFO if your reading this I hope you got back to GOOD Gravy, NOT JELLY GRAVY. Read more

I go here often at various times. If I can't sleep I will go for a walk. It's always clean, deliveries are handled well, and I... haven't had a problem. Read more

They had a manager named Anthony who got transferred to Providence Rd about 18 months ago...The day he left this place went into... rapid decline and has gotten worse ever since he's been gone. Since then it's been a revolving door at Store Manager. I heardthrough the grapevine Anthony left the company. Royal Farms needs to hunt him down and pay him whatever he asks to come back. Read more

BEWARE Soda drinkers - THIS Royal Farms location has gone WAY UP on the price of their 32 OZ Cups of Fountain Soda!!!.. They... USED to be about $1.50...NOW they are $1.90!!!! I was charged $1.90 FOR 32 oz. I thought the cashier was mistaken!...BUT NO!! Iwill NEVER BUY soda from Royal Farms. Matter of fact, I don't have any other reason to go into Royal Farms anymore!. Back toMcDonald's for their $0.99 cent LARGE soda's!!!! The Royal Farm price is EVEN MORE THAN 7-Eleven's $1.59 Big Gulp!!. WOW RoyalFarms. Read more

This review will be 2 sided. One will describe my time as an employee there and the other will be from a customer... standpoint. Let?s start off with a customer review prior to working at this Royal Farms location. This store is just a walk upthe hill from my house and very convenient if I have to stop by and grab something quick before work or on my way home. Thisroyal farms shares a spot with a dry cleaning service so expect parking to be tricky. This store is a bit older say from the mid80?s. The employees there sometimes would greet me and I returned the favor and the prices were reasonable. Fried chicken andwestern fries was fresh and filling and their deli is okay but Royal Farms is known for their ?World Famous Chicken?. As aformer employee, This was the first retail experience I ever had. I have seen my fair share of different types customers. Oneday Is good and the other day is an absolute hell. But hey, that?s retail. I?ve been asking to work the Day shift but myrequests go through deaf ears. This caused me to abruptly adjust my schedule to accommodate Royal Farms. Not cool. There wastimes that my co worker gets sick or needs time off. I happily filled in their position for the shift. When I had my days off, Iwas asked to come in because a worker can?t make it or simply ?they are coming late?. Once again, I obliged and came to work.Eventually, They were taking advantage of this and I barely had a day off. I can?t complain about the money but there were daysI needed a rest. So here I am working pure evening shifts such as 2-10, 3-11pm, 4-11pm or 5-11pm. Don?t get me started on theovernight shift. They always come late and I don?t end up getting home as late as 1am. I gave up being the nice employee andreported their action to the store leader. AGAIN, this went through deaf ears and no action was taken expect ?try to come early?or whatever my store leader said to them. My request was finally answered when I get to work the weekends on morning sh Read more

yes, the food is great. But once again the customer seevice is not what it should. Once again I ordered a breakfast sandwhich @... 2:27pm order #186 and is missing toppings. This time it was missing the pickles and was not toated. Also the cashier did notgreat me or thank me. I work in retail and I know things can stressfull, but its the small things like that that dont make youwant to come back. Also I couldnt drink my coffee because it tasted like it had dish soap in it. I very rarely have issues withroyal farms. But, when you are on your way to work and you cant enjoy something it just puts your whole day off. Read more

This place always has something crazy going on. Today was the last straw for me going to this location. There's a young man with... a mental disability that works there and he has a melt down EVERYDAY. I appreciate that royal royal gives everyone a fair chanceof employment but I've seen him argue with customers for getting coffee whole he is stocking something remotely close to themachines. Today he screamed at the cashier about giving him proper change and then slammed his hand on the table right in frontof me as he stormed to the back room. I was already waiting 20 minutes for my food while the woman, I think the manager, wastrying to diffuse the situation. She did an amazing job but I cannot deal with being legitimately afraid of an employee having ameltdown on me. There's also an older woman who normally works nights who won't say a single word to customers and openly actsignored that you'd even dare walk into the store. It's too frustrating even though it's so close to my house. Read more

This location is horrible. Parking is tough, store is older and smaller than new stores. Prepared food display leaked water... all over the floor, obviously malfunctioning. Food was still out for sale (anyone checking the temps?) and instead of cleaningup the water all over the floor, they just put up wet floor signs --- slip and fall lawsuit waiting to happen! Check out linewas back through the store because no one was working the register. Two people working the food line just stood there lookingat the growing line then one finally yelled to the cashier who was in the back of the store. Ice machine almost empty, mochaiced coffee was empty, only straws were for ices. This location is desperately in need of a management review and systemsoverhaul! Read more
