I absolutely love the food here! My favorite are the flounder basket and hush puppies. The seasoning of seafood steam bags is... perfect. "Fire" spice level is not too spicy and incorporates the perfect amount of garlic. To note, the flounder basket on mysecond visit wasn't as crispy as my first visit. Hoping they were just having an off day. When visiting, bring your patienceand understanding. They seem to be short-staffed most days. I wouldn't go there for all you can eat, too many rules plus, can only eat there for 2 hours. Better to just get one of their... entrees. The food was delicious. And it is neat how your food is delivered to the table in a plastic bag filled with air. Itdoes keep your food warm longer. The service was good, but they needed more waitresses. AB????SO????LUTE????LY! Im from FL and have been in PA almost a year and havent found any really good seafood joints. Went to... Bmore for a day outing and found this joint by accident was going somewhere else BUT let me tell you they are the gospel wordTRUTH. You will not be disappointed. It wasn't busy during my visit which was great and I was greeted by management upon entering the restaurant. I reside in... Virginia and was in the area with a craving for some sea food boil so I figured, why not try out some Urban Crab Shack. Themanager was extremely friendly and the bartenders service was phenomenal. From the previous reviews, most mentioned a male undermanagement but there was no sight of this individual. Anyways, what you all wanted to hear about. The FOOD! I tried the Cajunfries, honey spiced wings and shrimp + corn basket. It was delicious. I highly recommend trying the honey spiced wings. Theseasoning on the seafood boil was on point. Overall, my experience at this restaurant is a 5 star because of the FOOD, service,friendliness and cleanliness. I will definitely plan another trip back to Urban Crab Shack! Read more
This was almost 5stars but the misleading happy hour marketing needed updating (the business website and flyers/posters posted... still up in restaurant) AND it could use more flavor. Was not giving urban in the taste department. But still everything wasgood. Good customer service, fried food taste good and drinks was delicious. Went Sunday, December 12 2021 service was very slow. Took way too long for the food to come out. I was there with my husband. I... order scallops and shrimp, I thought I was getting a shrimp broil. Well, that was not the case. First, my scallops came. Then 5mins later my shrimp. No corn no potatoes or egg that I ask for nothing. Then 5 mins later my husband gets his shrimp basket.Then time goes by and his salad comes. The place wasn't busy at all we did order a cheesecake and a chocolate cake. The food wasgood but they need to fix the menus I have no clue why they charge 27 dollars for scallops without getting anything but corn. Ifeel robbed. I want my money back my bill was 85 dollars and they have the nerve to add the tip automatically without asking ortelling you they do it. They need to fix their menu because most of the menu you can no longer get like the19 scallops, theyare not on the menu anymore. Read more
Very very good place! Delicious kitchen beautiful design atmosphere great service perfect price for food! We was 2 time... already, because our friend recommend this place!
