Good little sushi spot in Parkville. The place was very busy. Ordered the dynamite roll, las vegas roll, tuna sashimi, and unagi... nigiri. All were good. The service was pleasant and prompt. Would try again. Read more

I went here after having to walk out of KC sushi. I'm so happy I did because I found this place. Waitress was great and helped... pick out stuff we might like based on what we were ordering. We loved everything! We go out to sushi often and just moved andthis is the best place we have been to so far. The unagi was amazing. They have booths. Staff greeted regular customers likefriends. Great environment all together and the sushi is amazing! Read more

They put something else in their sweet potato roll. Also notes shell fish allergy and they put all rolls on one plate, so... couldn't eat it. Will never order from them again. Read more

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a good noodle spot to eat. I really want to like this place, because it is so... close to my home, but each time I order take-out I'm dissatisfied with the experience. Now, I understand why. I was able toanswer my own question about my experience by reading the reviews. I usually order the Yaki Soba combination with Shrimp,Chicken and Beef. Each time the meat is overcooked, and they don't offer Yum Yum sauce, which would help with the dryness ofthe meal. When I first asked for Yum Yum sauce they seemed like they had no idea what I was talking about, which should havebeen a clear indication to me that I might have an issue with their version of the dish. It is almost as if the people whooffer this dish don't know a whole lot about it or don't personally eat it themselves, so they're not aware of the experiencesother might have when eating it (dry); and then it dawned on me why; I'm visiting a place that specializes in sushi. This helpsexplain why what seems like a standard Japanese dish is so sub par at this restaurant. I keep Yum Yum sauce and Hoisin sauce athome, so I add them to the dish if I order take-out from them. Absolutley loved it. The food was excellent and the amosphere was very relaxing. The best part of this dining experience was... that all the dishes were not packed with food the proportions were just right so you had to enjoy e ery last bite. The meal isvery diverse sushi wise and even the kids loved the food. Higly reccomend. Also the food was so good I did something I havenever done in a sushi restaurant....I didnt touch any soy sauce and didnt realize it until my way out. Read more

The food here is really good, and the service is very fast. We enjoyed our meal very much, including crab rangoon, egg roles,... soup, sushi, and fried rice. It wasn't very busy, so we were seated right away on a Sunday night at about 6:30 pm. I woulddefinitely recommend Sakae Sushi! Read more
